What’s life like for non-Mormons in Utah? Especially where you live — in a small, rural town. I love Utah and would move there in a heartbeat. (Lived in Page, AZ for 5 years, so I have a pretty good idea of what it’s like to be surrounded by Mormons.)
What’s it like for non-Mormons in Utah?
I would expect it’s probably mixed. It really would depend on on the situation. I lived out on the East Coast, as well as the midwest, and I have known many kinds of Mormon, some decent in their conduct to me, and some not so much. I don’t agree with them, but I know where I disagree with them, and it’s as simple as that.
Well we came here for a specific reason although we do understand the culture very well. Our days are filled with visitors from the outside but our contribution to the economy here has been noticed. If we want a good Mexican dinner we go to Page.
It is hard to find reliable employees and services so if you are in the trades you will be treasured.
Most all wage earners are at the minimum.
