Considering there are more Protestants than Roman Catholics in this country, that's an enormously revealing statistic.
And most of those "evangelicals and fundamentalists who are considering entering the (RC) church" are no doubt non-RC spouses of Roman Catholics.
Excellent points.
In 2005 three congregations withdrew from the OPC to join the Presbyterian Church in America, one of which was a rather large congregation, resulting in a net loss of members for the OPC in 2005. The membership of the OPC has remained at about 28,000 for more than two years, which is a cause of concern.so they make a lot of noise for such a small grouping and don't regard even their fellow Presbyterians well -- I wonder what they think of the sub-groups that formed from them like the Bible Presbyterian C and the Evangelical Presbyterian C
For years, the neo-liberals and their enablers have continually pleaded for brotherly love, understanding, and toleration, while gaining evergreater control. Today, neoliberals and their enablers clearly hold the upper hand. Satan has won his war of attrition against the one true Gospel in the OPC (113).I guess that this ex-"ruling elder" will split the OPC numbers down from 27,000 odd to 3 or 4 and there will be the AOPC, the RPOPC and the ELOPC or more sub-cults.
The OPC long ago ceased to proclaim the one true Gospel to the exclusion of all false gospels (115).
