The OPC may make a big noise on this and other threads, but they are only 28,000 people as of 2005 and still showing a downward trend in adherents, Their own website http://opc.org/GA/73rd_GA_rpt_topical.html says":
In 2005 three congregations withdrew from the OPC to join the Presbyterian Church in America, one of which was a rather large congregation, resulting in a net loss of members for the OPC in 2005. The membership of the OPC has remained at about 28,000 for more than two years, which is a cause of concern.
so they make a lot of noise for such a small grouping and don't regard even their fellow Presbyterians well -- I wonder what they think of the sub-groups that formed from them like the Bible Presbyterian C and the Evangelical Presbyterian C

And the OPC has split TWICE so far --> and it's going to split again with a Former Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC) ruling elder Paul M. Elliott. writing in A Denomination in Denial: An Evaluation of the Report of the Committee to Study the Doctrine of Justification of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church,
For years, the neo-liberals and their enablers have continually pleaded for brotherly love, understanding, and toleration, while gaining evergreater control. Today, neoliberals and their enablers clearly hold the upper hand. Satan has won his war of attrition against the one true Gospel in the OPC (113).

The OPC long ago ceased to proclaim the one true Gospel to the exclusion of all false gospels (115).
I guess that this ex-"ruling elder" will split the OPC numbers down from 27,000 odd to 3 or 4 and there will be the AOPC, the RPOPC and the ELOPC or more sub-cults.

Woohooo, and the OPC cult was formed barely 80 years ago! The half-life of heresies is getting shorter and shorter. it took 500 years for the implosion to occur in the ELCA and ECUSA and PCUSA and MCUSA but now the OPC implodes in 80.

In contrast, thanks to the grace of the Holy SPirit, the Church has survived (despite the best efforts of the enemy without and within to destroy it), for 2000 years.

Thanks for posting that diagram of the Presbyterian church. I really enjoy it.

As far as your book goes, when you can figure out what the guy is talking about so you can know what you're talking about, let us know.
