Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

"Read the scriptures, they are not written as a mystery, they are written to reveal the nature and character of God."

But you have to have the special Protestant decoder ring to see past the plain language and discover what Jesus "really" meant.

I do not agree, God told us how He sees our "good works" but apparently some people still don't get it and so it is important to remind them what God actually thinks

=======================================

THIS is one of those points I fiercely agree on.

Human nature in ALL of us wants to white wash our sins . . .

AND

gild, embellish, auto-sanctify, neon-highlight, trumpet our good works--and maybe their bloodlines or organizational purity or pile of white hankies.

CHRIST, as usual, slices through all that deadliness describing the BEST WE CAN OFFER of our works

AS

The worst of that culture's offensive articles/objects--at least the worst that Good Israelites would have anything to do with.

I suspect pig poo would have been worse to them but they'd have not had anything to do with that.

Used Kotex, on the other hand, all were quite familiar with--very close to home. For Christ to say THAT'S what our best works of righteousness amount to slices to the bone marrow of self-righteousness, pride, arrogance, haughtiness, !!!CONTROL!!!! freaque-ism, etc.

What better declaration that ONLY HIS BLOOD IS SUFFICIENT. ONLY HIS BLOOD MAKES US THE LEAST BIT HOLY. ONLY HIS BLOOD CAN PRESENT US BLAMELESS BEFORE THE FATHER. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WE DO

EVEN with the best heart and spirit motives

can earn us the least corner of Heavenly Glory, nor the least favor of God in gratitude for OUR selfl-righteous works.

The words were harsh because

THE REALITY IS HARSH.

He wants us to GET IT.

Many still fail to GET IT.

The compulsion remains to white-wash our sins and gold spray our good works.

We resist with almost our every fiber that it's all deadly rot.

We want !!!!CONTROL!!!! of our own righteousness so we can take the credit. We want our works of righteousness to earn some of Heaven so we can leverage our negotiations with God.

He's designed it supremely wisely so that there'll be NONE OF THAT.

IT'S ALL JESUS BEGINNING TO END.

TO GOD'S GLORY.

NO FLESH SHALL GLORY IN HIS PRESENCE.

WE MUST GET THAT.

The used Kotex metaphor CAN help us GET IT, if we will pay attention with a teachable spirit.

About the time we start breaking our hands patting our backs for our good deeds this smell wafts by . . . and Holy Spirit says . . . uhhhh . . . 'Are you real sure about that?'

INDEED. WELL PUT:

I once heard it said that if it does not offend it is not the gospel..because the natural man does not like hearing he is a sinner and can not save himself with his good works

A KEEPER.

1Cr 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

There’s some HINT that maybe only mortals have to bother about such bodily functions.

I’ve long thought that such functions were DESIGNED to humble us.

Many, however, pretend nothing about THEM stinks.

Sigh.

Yes. We all can. Most of us find it unnecessary to say, "filthy bloody menstrual rags," though. After all, it's a normal function and we all know what it is.

I do not agree, God told us how He sees our "good works" but apparently some people still don't get it and so it is important to remind them what God actually thinks

Exactly...God is very graphic and very clear what HE thinks about people counting on some 'work' that they may do to get to Heaven instead of relying of the 'it is finished', 'once for all' work of Jesus Christ...

Apparently some folks are offended by God when He speaks to them like that...

I am not offended by God or by anything He tells me. I am offended by anti-Catholics who think that the height of apologetics is to use graphic language from the Bible. I am offended by other non Catholic posters who think that the height of apologetics is to have fun at someone else’s expense.

I am a nurse. Very little offends me, about the human body. Nothing about a woman’s functions offends me. However, I think that some things are private, not to be discussed in open mixed company. There was no need for the graphic comment. None.

I realize that there are some people whose maturity level makes it a foregone conclusion that they will say, “Neener neener neener, the RM said we could say it, you are a sissy” but I really didn’t think it would be everyone. Seriously.

Boy, was I wrong.

Those are the key words Judith, if God is so offended by men trying to work their way to him that he used graphic language to describe those works it is worth repeating

To the Jews touching a woman having her period was as unclean as touching a dead decaying body .. in order for her to become touchable she had to have a ritual cleaning

God is pretty clear here..works done to please Him are filthy to Him, untouchable. and need cleansing to be clean again ... We should not shrink from the word of God, but embrace it

It is cherry-picking from the full spectrum of Catholicism.

I am not convinced.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, Have mercy on us.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, Have mercy on us.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

Apropos of absolutely nothing, this is interesting:

O GOD and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we invoke Thy Holy Name, and we humbly implore Thy mercy, that by the intercession of the Mother of GOD Mary Immaculate Ever Virgin, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of Blessed Joseph the Spouse of the same Blessed Virgin, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul and of all the Saints, Thou wouldst deign to afford us help against satan and all the other unclean spirits and against whatever wanders throughout the world to do harm to the human race and to ruin souls, through the same Christ Our Lord, Amen.

We exorcise thee, O every unclean spirit, satanic power, infernal invader, wicked legion, assembly and sect; in the Name and by the power of Our Lord Jesus Christ +; may thou be snatched away and driven from the Church of GOD and from the souls made to the Image and Likeness of GOD and redeemed by the Precious Blood of the Divine Lamb +. Most cunning serpent, thou shalt no more dare to deceive the human race, persecute the Church, torment GOD's elect and sift them as wheat +. The Most High GOD commands thee +. He with whom in your great insolence, thou still claimest to be equal; He who wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth.

GOD the Father commands thee +, GOD the Son commands thee +, GOD the Holy Spirit commands thee +. The Majesty of Christ, the Eternal Word of GOD made flesh, commands thee +; He Who to save our race outdone through thy envy, "humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death". He who has built His Church on the firm rock and declared that the gates of hell shall never prevail against Her, because He will dwell with Her "all days even to the end of the world". The Sacred Sign of the Cross commands thee +, as does also the power of the Mysteries of the Christian Faith +, the Glorious Mother of GOD, the Virgin Mary, commands thee +; She who by Her humility and from the first moment of Her Immaculate Conception, crushed thy proud head. The faith of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul and of the other Apostles command thee +. The Blood of the Martyrs and the pious intercession of all the Saints command thee +.

Thus, cursed dragon and thee diabolical legion, we adjure thee by the Living GOD +, by the True GOD +, by the Holy GOD +, by the GOD "who so loved the world that He gave up His Only Son, that every soul believing in Him might not perish but have life everlasting"; stop deceiving human creatures and pouring out to them the poison of eternal damnation; stop harming the Church and ensnaring her liberty. BEGONE, satan, inventor and master of all deceit, enemy of man's salvation. Give place to Christ in whom thou hast found none of your works; give place to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church acquired by Christ at the price of His Blood. Stoop beneath the powerful Hand of GOD; tremble and flee when we invoke the Holy and terrible Name of Jesus, this Name which cause hell to tremble, this Name to which the Virtues, Powers and Dominations of Heaven are humbly submissive, this Name to which the Virtues, Powers and Dominations of Heaven are humbly submissive, this Name which the Cherubim and Seraphim praise unceasingly repeating: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord, the GOD of Armies!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Now and forever!

Some times the only thing that works is a nuke.

The saints, the monks, spiritual direction, meditation “dark night of the soul” ... all mysticism

Many Scriptures are also mysticism if we believe God enlightened minds of humans to write since God is a mystery and the Bible did not fall from the sky untouched by human hands.

You need to stop grouping Christian mysticism with non Christian mysticism

The story's in The Everlasting Man. Briefly, at the mention of Grant Allen's book, The Evolution of the Idea of God, Chesterton defends his notion that it would be more interesting if God were to write a book on the evolution of the idea of Grant Allen -- a notion perfect in orthodoxy he opines, since (from memory here) "it confesses the Divine purpose even in its darkest and most mysterious manifestations."

That is not "mysticism " and no where does God tell us that it is acceptable in the NT ... The church has the scriptures which speak for God.. there is no more to add to that. God closed the scriptures when His revelation to men was ended...

You need to stop grouping Christian mysticism with non Christian mysticism

And how does it differ? Out of body travel, visions, secret knowledge.. meditation /emptying your mind .. looking at the inner self??

Catholic Mysticism grew out of Pagan/eastern mysticism..

No. You could say mystery is at the heart of Catholicism: the mystery of the Trinity, of the Incarnation, etc. Mysticism, properly speaking, is a consolation, a direct experience of God.

But I can see why you don't believe in it.

This can get pretty complicated when it shouldn’t be.

You say “works done to please Him are filthy to Him”

It seems that clarity is needed here.

It depends on the meaning of “works” and “pleasing Him”.

For example, the 25th chapter of Matthew:
“the King will then say to those at his right hand, ‘Come O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord when did we see thee hungry and feed thee...” and you know the rest of that story.

Were these works—or not?

In the parable of the owner of the vineyard whose two sons differed in their approach to going out to work: one said “no” but ended up going and the other said “yes” but didn’t go. Jesus asked in which one the Father was most pleased. Did that son work—or not?

When the Good Samaritan stopped by the side of the road to help the injured man, even to the point of caring for his wounds, taking him to lodging and promising to return if more was needed——was that works? or not?

I think we all can understand that there is a very human tendency, one lacking in humility before God, to do “good works” but with darkened minds and hearts rather than pure magnanimity. That would be in error in all situations.

But for those who, because they are Christ-bearers, do deeds of charity and justice for the sake of God and for the fulfillment of the 2nd great commandment—are those deeds to be called “works to buy salvation”; are they “filthy rags”?

Let’s get it clarified and separate the the false from the true, the fulfillment of Christian love for the glory of God, and the “works” of impure motives, which do not give glory to God.
