Yes. We all can. Most of us find it unnecessary to say, "filthy bloody menstrual rags," though. After all, it's a normal function and we all know what it is.

I do not agree, God told us how He sees our "good works" but apparently some people still don't get it and so it is important to remind them what God actually thinks

Exactly...God is very graphic and very clear what HE thinks about people counting on some 'work' that they may do to get to Heaven instead of relying of the 'it is finished', 'once for all' work of Jesus Christ...

Apparently some folks are offended by God when He speaks to them like that...

I am not offended by God or by anything He tells me. I am offended by anti-Catholics who think that the height of apologetics is to use graphic language from the Bible. I am offended by other non Catholic posters who think that the height of apologetics is to have fun at someone else’s expense.

I am a nurse. Very little offends me, about the human body. Nothing about a woman’s functions offends me. However, I think that some things are private, not to be discussed in open mixed company. There was no need for the graphic comment. None.

I realize that there are some people whose maturity level makes it a foregone conclusion that they will say, “Neener neener neener, the RM said we could say it, you are a sissy” but I really didn’t think it would be everyone. Seriously.

Boy, was I wrong.
