I pulled the image to my desktop, opened it in MS Paint, slapped a circle around the dove, uploaded it to my photobucket account and then linked to it in my post. First time I’ve ever done it which is why I didn’t expect it to work.
The dove is the center of the image, I think a massive bird would look bizarre. This particular picture is very small and low resolution but the dark background the dove is on looks like it’s the same color as the rest of the background and it looks like we’re seeing a head on view of the Father... think superman flying at you rather than standing up.
You’ll notice there are a lot of other heavenly figures surrounding the central throne, I don’t even know what event is being depicted here. My first thought is it’s the coronation of Mary, but I’m not sure. It’s about 800 years old as best as I can tell.

This means you can repent and confess you were wrong and likely be back in good standing with the Church again.Your Baptism is still valid etc... Those who have WILLFULLY left the Church have essentially been excommunicated for the time being by their choice to leave or for other reasons.

The Catholic Church is a voluntary association of like minded Christians. It does require that you believe certain things to remain a member. No one compels or forces anyone to conform. Everyone is completely free to believe something else, just not to call themselves Catholic while doing it. It works for well over a billion people.

You really need to study art history before you make a profession like that. The Holy Spirit is dead center. It is the image of a descending dove with a halo.
In pre-Renaissance paintings position within the painting was critical. Perspective would not be introduced for hundreds of years. The arrangement of principles is symbolic rather that photographic. The Highest is God the Father, Christ is above Mary and the Holy Spirit between them all, as a unifying entity.
You are going to have to tell me more about this work of art because I am not familiar with any "Trinity of Parma" and the painting or fresco. It looks more Byzantine than Roman.
