I pulled the image to my desktop, opened it in MS Paint, slapped a circle around the dove, uploaded it to my photobucket account and then linked to it in my post. First time I’ve ever done it which is why I didn’t expect it to work.
The dove is the center of the image, I think a massive bird would look bizarre. This particular picture is very small and low resolution but the dark background the dove is on looks like it’s the same color as the rest of the background and it looks like we’re seeing a head on view of the Father... think superman flying at you rather than standing up.
You’ll notice there are a lot of other heavenly figures surrounding the central throne, I don’t even know what event is being depicted here. My first thought is it’s the coronation of Mary, but I’m not sure. It’s about 800 years old as best as I can tell.
