Well let's see here...Jesus wasn't God until the Holy Spirit landed on Him compared to Mary is the co-redeemer, co-mediator, the dispenser of all Graces, etc...

If there was a time when Jesus Christ wasn't God then He was not, is not and can not be God. If He is not God then the whole of Christian belief is a nothing.

And so the penny drops. If one denies the divinity of Christ then no wonder there is consternation and outrage at the honor and devotion Catholics give to the Mother of GOD. That's what it's all about, Mary's Son is God, not because of her but because of Him. Mary is nothing without Jesus and He is everything no matter what.

"The clergy, by getting themselves established by law and ingrafted into the machine of government, have been a very formidable engine against the civil and religious rights of man." --Thomas Jefferson to Jeremiah Moor, 1800.

"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes." --Thomas Jefferson to Alexander von Humboldt, 1813. ME 14:21

"In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own." --Thomas Jefferson to Horatio G. Spafford, 1814. ME 14:119

That being said, lets all agree that it would be foolish to think that our Catholic fellow citizens (including much of my own family) are due loyalists (the countless Catholics who have died in service to their country prove this) nor that even many in the clergy desire a dictatorship. Nevertheless, there remains an extremist wing in the RCC (which includes a handful of freepers) who are outright hostile to the principles of the Anglo-Scottish Enlightenment that gave birth to this country, and who seek the return of a so-called "glorious age" when all are/were united religiously under Rome (the "unity" has been disproved by the countless wars, between Christian nations, as well as conflicts between throne and altar), and the Enlightenment never happened.

The best thing to do with these people is to point and laugh. Merely a Confederacy of Dunces.

Quite reasonably and accurately put, I think.

However, the lot of them seem to have 0.0000000000% insight.

No insight into the blokes in their mirrors.

And no insight into their . . . POLITELY—PROBLEMATIC . . . INSTITUTION . . .

Evidently mirrors are anathematized under the Vatican umbrella.

To make sure I understand, do you agree with the statement "Jesus wasn't God until the Holy Spirit landed on Him"?

Nope...But I find that belief far less harmful than to believe Mary is my co-Redeemer...Or Mary dispenses all the Grace I need...OR that Mary is the Queen of Heaven that God warns to stay away from...

Aimee did have several husbands. In Mt. 5 31:33 Jesus forbade divorce and remarriage , yet the Semple one refuses to listen to His message. Now we know what type of person she was, but is this attitude indicative of other Four Square members who decide for themselves what messages of Jesus to obey.

It appears from the Semple one’s behavior, she violated the command against divorce and remarriage or requested the escape clause of fornication. If this be so, Aimee might well have been conversant with the woman caught in adultery. What do you think?

Jesus forbade remarriage??? Under the Law or under grace??? Adultery is sin...Is there a remedy for sin???

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

But yet you guys forbid your priests, bishops and popes to marry, against God's will...You tell your people not to eat meat on Friday, against God's will...And of course let's not forget to mention that your religion provides cover for your pedophile and queer priests, bishops, cardinals and popes, against God's will...

Where do any of you get off criticizing this woman...Your religion makes her look like a Saint...Maybe you ought to canonize her...

The amount of vitriol your Godly posts are receiving is directly proportionate to the truth you are preaching.

Those who have been blinded will not see it.

Those whom God calls will understand and believe in the only Mediator between men and God, Christ Jesus.

"Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." -- Matthew 5:11-14

Bible-believing Christians are the city that cannot be hid. Thank God for His unearned mercy. Regardless of how some men love to boast, the only good work that saves anyone is Christ's good work on the cross, freely imputed to His own by the will of God for His glory, according to His purpose.

I agree, Walmart vision centers are excellent, for eye exams and for anything to do with eyeglasses.

They have better hours too, and ten years ago, they ophthamologist gave me a prescription for pink eye on a Saturday morning which allowed me to attend my grandmother’s 90th birthday party.

Do you call the Virgin Mary blessed?

I don't call Mary bles-sed...I say that she is blessed...Jesus says we are more blessed...Or is that bles-sed???

It’s another silly straw dog of a deflection, redirection of the Vatican magicians following in the

!!!!TRADITIONS!!!! of their duplicitous magicsterical elites who were sooooooo supportive of the blasphemous, idolatrous hideocies about Mary as well as they were so supportive of far, far too many of the priests fondling altar boys.

250. Thanks again, Quix. You said

Some have said that the language below
is ‘merely’ hyperbolic adoration.

Wellllllllllllll ... that won’t do any good at all as the demons are dragging any idolater down to eternal hell for not having saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

265, point 6, good question.

Aimee or anyone’s sins / failures / mistakes / scandals are WRONG WRONG WRONG and not to be defended or excused.

Good thing she served a Savior Who is merciful and that she lived a lively faith and availed herself of His mercy.

Has anyone answered this yet?

6. PLEASE note for the Proddys which of y’all’s VERY altar boy friendly priests did 1/10,000th
.
the good for the Kingdom of God that Aimee did.

The prominent preacher John Hagee teaches that Jesus is not the Messiah promised to the Jews.

Seems unlikely that Hagee would have said that...You have something more than here say for the citation???

Stop right there. I don't know if you're actually paying attention to what's going on here but the post you're responding to is related to the divinity of Christ and my assertion that people who disagree on the answer to "Who do you say that I am" will ignore their differences to spit at the Catholic Church in some sort of bizarre duet.

Now I am not a "Vatican magician" nor am I supportive of the filth that has attempted to infiltrate the Catholic Church. I know you're going to laugh that off, but I will not.

Is there anything more important in your mind than Who and What Jesus Christ is? If someone teaches that Jesus Christ is a shrimp boat captain is that less important than someone who believes that Mary cooperated with the Redemption? If someone teaches that Jesus Christ was a great big hairy baboon with three eyes and a toe for a nose is that less offensive than teaching that Jesus Christ IS NOT GOD?! It's the same position theologically! The gulf separating you, me and Mary from a great big hairy baboon with three eyes and a toe for a nose is non-existent compared to the gulf that separates you, me, Mary and that baboon from God.

Pay attention to what you're willing to align yourself with in your crusade. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" is not a fundamental truth, usually the enemy of your enemy is also your enemy as well.

Doesn't appear that anyone denied the divinity of Christ...It appears that, if what you say is accurate, that Jesus did not become the Christ til He was filled with the Spirit...

That's what it's all about, Mary's Son is God, not because of her but because of Him. Mary is nothing without Jesus and He is everything no matter what.

HaHaHa...If your religion all of a sudden declared Mary is just a sinner like the rest of us, your religion would immediately crash...

What would all those Catholics do with those millions of front yard bath tubs???

There appear to be two reasons to attack Catholicism.

1. By liberaltarians and regular leftists and atheists who want to destroy all public morality.

2. Protestants who don’t realize they are playing right into #1’s purpose. If Protestants saved their fervor to convert the #1 group into being believers in God instead of viciously attacking Christians who have some differences in theology, then their fervor would be of value.

This thread is a very good example that proves my points. If the leftists etc have more control than they have now, all believers in God will have plenty of time to discuss differences of theology in the re-education camps, at least until the drugs and shock therapy take effect. Or bullets.

Folks who think that the frequent Proddy posters hereon have a weak conviction, belief, understanding of the

VERY BIBLICAL ASSERTIONS ABOUT THE TIMELESS, ETERNAL, ALWAYS WAS, IS AND WILL BE DEITY OF CHRIST

are simply clueless, ignorant and/or willfully blind.

I'd be hard pressed to think of any known Proddy on here buying into anything less than a robust Biblical set of truth about Christ's deity.

All the RC blather to the contrary is a stadium full of straw dogs--designed to mean-spiritedly deflect the truths about the Vatican's own deficiencies, idolatries, blasphemies, heresies.

That's it in a nutshell--pure and simple.

However, by all means, carry on. It makes it abundantly easier to just point lurkers to y'all's relentless demonstrations of such idiocies. They are plenty smart to draw their own rational conclusions in the face of such mean-spirited weasel tactics, strategies and UNMITIGATED HOGWASH.
