Stop right there. I don't know if you're actually paying attention to what's going on here but the post you're responding to is related to the divinity of Christ and my assertion that people who disagree on the answer to "Who do you say that I am" will ignore their differences to spit at the Catholic Church in some sort of bizarre duet.

Now I am not a "Vatican magician" nor am I supportive of the filth that has attempted to infiltrate the Catholic Church. I know you're going to laugh that off, but I will not.

Is there anything more important in your mind than Who and What Jesus Christ is? If someone teaches that Jesus Christ is a shrimp boat captain is that less important than someone who believes that Mary cooperated with the Redemption? If someone teaches that Jesus Christ was a great big hairy baboon with three eyes and a toe for a nose is that less offensive than teaching that Jesus Christ IS NOT GOD?! It's the same position theologically! The gulf separating you, me and Mary from a great big hairy baboon with three eyes and a toe for a nose is non-existent compared to the gulf that separates you, me, Mary and that baboon from God.

Pay attention to what you're willing to align yourself with in your crusade. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" is not a fundamental truth, usually the enemy of your enemy is also your enemy as well.

Folks who think that the frequent Proddy posters hereon have a weak conviction, belief, understanding of the

are simply clueless, ignorant and/or willfully blind.

I'd be hard pressed to think of any known Proddy on here buying into anything less than a robust Biblical set of truth about Christ's deity.

All the RC blather to the contrary is a stadium full of straw dogs--designed to mean-spiritedly deflect the truths about the Vatican's own deficiencies, idolatries, blasphemies, heresies.

That's it in a nutshell--pure and simple.

However, by all means, carry on. It makes it abundantly easier to just point lurkers to y'all's relentless demonstrations of such idiocies. They are plenty smart to draw their own rational conclusions in the face of such mean-spirited weasel tactics, strategies and UNMITIGATED HOGWASH.

Stick to the premise...The conversation wasn't that Jesus was not divine...It was when He received His divinity...

When Jesus said, 'Who do you you say that I am', was after the Holy Spirit landed on Him at the baptism...

Now you seem to be suggesting that those people that believe that lay no divinity on Jesus...

I don't think there's much here. The usual breathless panic about our bless'd Mother, the usual ignorance about the Middle Ages, the usual misunderstanding of what the Church says of herself.

I once went through the horrified list of Marian titles and attributions and explained them. So when I see virtually the same list again I realize this isn't about conversation but about fighting. And I'm just not very interested in fighting.
