Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

I missed it..I asked you to show us where Jesus taught such an important doctrine , I must have missed the reply could you link me to it?

You must have missed it...

I had a lengthy reply laid out that I was working on since my last post, but lost it; it will have to be more succint this reply...Let us first set up the timeline:

Hebrews 9:27 Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment, 28 so also Christ, offered once to take away the sins of many, 20 will appear a second time, not to take away sin but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await him.

Matthew 25:27 Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment, 28 so also Christ, offered once to take away the sins of many, 20 will appear a second time, not to take away sin but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await him. Luke 12:2 2 "There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed on the housetops. 4 I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body but after that can do no more.

Luke 12: 58 If you are to go with your opponent before a magistrate, make an effort to settle the matter on the way; otherwise your opponent will turn you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the constable, and the constable throw you into prison. 59 I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny." 12

So what do we know? First Judgement immediately after death is to Judge your final disposal. The Second Judgement reveals every sin - but we have 2 curious statements here: Christ to bring salvation to those who await them, and the release of those out of prison who have paid every penny. Those to be saved are not sanctified at this point.

2 Thessalonians 2:But we ought to give thanks to God for you always, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits 7 for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in truth.

The Holy Spirit sanctifies. Got it. What other wisdom do we have?

Hebrews 12: 14 Strive for peace with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

If you are not sanctified, you will not enter Heaven (more on this to come).

2 Corinthians 3: 14 If the work stands that someone built upon the foundation, that person will receive a wage. 15 But if someone's work is burned up, that one will suffer loss; the person will be saved, 8 but only as through fire.

Where do you get your wages? The Master Builder - Christ. But if you are saved, it will be as through fire. Let us sum here: The Holy Spirit sanctified; you cannot enter Heaven if you not sanctified and your salvation will be as through fire. It's gonna hurt, baybee.

Now, what do we have? First Judgement - disposal instructions. Second Judgement - all sins to be revealed and then sanctification through the Holy Spirit which is complete and painful. Let us move to the Heaven phase.

Revelation 21:22 16 I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God almighty and the Lamb. 23 17 The city had no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gave it light, and its lamp was the Lamb. 24 The nations will walk by its light, 18 and to it the kings of the earth will bring their treasure. 25 During the day its gates will never be shut, and there will be no night there. 26 The treasure and wealth of the nations will be brought there, 27 but nothing unclean will enter it, nor any (one) who does abominable things or tells lies.

Nothing unclean will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore the sanctification will occur after the Second Judgement and before you get past St. Peter.

Revelation 22: 1 Then the angel showed me the river of life-giving water, 1 sparkling like crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of its street. On either side of the river grew the tree of life 2 that produces fruit twelve times a year, once each month; the leaves of the trees serve as medicine for the nations. 3 Nothing accursed will be found there anymore. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. 4 They will look upon his face, 3 and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 Night will be no more, nor will they need light from lamp or sun, for the Lord God shall give them light, and they shall reign forever and ever.

The purpose of men is to be with God forever and ever. No graduated reward system, no seat on the celestial 50 yard line. Just to be in the presence of Almighty God forever and ever.

Your sins are still present at the Second Judgement because God shows them to the entire Creation. They are not present when you enter Heaven. The process we call Purgatory is administered by the Holy Spirit to make we impure men pure and holy so that we can enter Heaven. Comments?

Mechon Mamre describes it’ self as follows:

“About Mechon Mamre and Our Work
“Mechon Mamre” is Hebrew for “the Mamre Institute”. Mamre is a place name for the place where Abraham our patriarch lived (see Genesis 13,18). Abraham is the forefather of both Jews and Gentiles who live by the instructions of God, and our site is intended for Jew and Gentile alike.
Mechon Mamre is a small group of observant Jewish Torah scholars in Israel who live by the plain and simple meaning of the RaMBaM’s Mishneh Torah and actively encourage others to do so. Most of us belong to the mainstream “Baladi” Yemenite Jewish community, continuing the tradition of living by the Mishneh Torah since the very days when the RaMBaM lived, and are students of the Rav Yosef ben-Dawid QaafiH zS”l (the leading rabbinical expert in recent generations on the teachings of the RaMBaM in general and on his Mishneh Torah in particular).”

And the JPS says of it’s self:

“A Word of Welcome to The Jewish Publication Society
From Rabbi Barry L. Schwartz, CEO
Welcome to JPS. We are the oldest publisher of Jewish books in the United States. Our roots go back to before the Civil War, and our charter to 1888 in Philadelphia. Our legacy includes two acclaimed translations of the Hebrew Bible (the JPS Tanakh), esteemed biblical commentary, and over 120 years of scholarly and popular works of history, philosophy, and literature that have stood the test of time.” www.jewishpub.org

I've always wondered what Paul meant when he told Timothy:

2 Timothy 4:13

When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, also the books, and above all the parchments.

I think he probably had copies of the Old Testament writings that he carried with him as much as possible.

Yes, let's put some different descriptions in for the two individuals.

Two people went up to the temple area to pray; one was a (A) and the other was a (B). The (A) took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself, 'O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity--greedy, dishonest, adulterous--or even like this (B). I fast twice a week (I refrain from eating meat), I obey the commandments, I receive sacraments, I do good deeds, and I pay tithes on my whole income.' But the (B) stood off at a distance and would not even raise his eyes to heaven but beat his breast and prayed, 'O God, be merciful to me a sinner.' I tell you, (B) went home justified, not (A); for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted."

We have faith and hope of salvation BECAUSE of the Holy Scriptures that God has provided as the authority for our faith and hope. Trusting in what men say is not a foundation for faith or hope.

That might be argued except for this: we get lambasted every day on the RF (correctly if I am wrong, by even such a person as yourself) because we do not and will not presume themselves saved. The double predestination crowd and the OSAS crowd excoriate the Catholics because they do not proclaim their own salvation. The double predestination and the OSAS crowd crow and leap in the air and PRAAAIIIISEEEEE JEEEZZUSSS because they ARE SAVED (tm).

No Catholic self determines salvation, in spite of the weird accusations. We are accused of personal salvation through the Church. Really? Then why do we refuse to get drawn into the cesspool of self declared personal salvation that so many Protestants wallow in?

No; the Mass repeatedly prays to God to forgive us so that we may live in the hope of salvation. We pray for mercy from God in multiple prayers at every Mass. The double predestination crowd and the OSAS crowd believes that they are already on the rolls for salvation, so why bother even pretending? If you are already saved and your salvation cannot be taken away, your example is worse than meaningless, because it is the practical opposite of what really is the situation.

The Received Texts? Perhaps you mean the Byzantine type of manuscripts which are of a later date than Vaticannus and Sinaiticus. Most English Bibles until the 19th. cen. were based opon the Majority Text, so called because of their great number, but since then much older manuscripts have been found.

.
Paul may well have been the most educated man in the world at the time. He was a well schooled Pharisee Rabbi, and a member of the Sanhedrin until his salvation on the Damascus road. He most likely carried the complete scrolls of the masoretic OT.
