The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.
The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).
The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.
The Intentions Made Plain
The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:
"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization
"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.
"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.
"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.
"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.
|
Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.
This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!
In Their Own Words
The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.
This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.
Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.
Christ said that the truth would set us free and who the Son sets free is free indeed.
Performing religious tasks and obligations under coercion is not freedom in Christ.
AMEN!
RC apologists do not seem to understand the spiritual things of God. They believe salvation is found in a wafer given by "another Christ" after it has been levitated to just the correct height.
But Scripture tells us that Christ is with us always because He is spiritually-discerned by those given a renewed mind and a regenerated spirit and a heart of flesh and new eyes and ears.
Rome simply reveals it is not in possession of those gifts.
Well, the OPC split once to form the BPC, then another time to form the APC. They may run out of acronyms soon or just reduce to being the West-Central Branch of Bapto-PresbyLuthMethodistic Adventist Scientist Schreechers (or WCBBPLMASSes)

T-st’s statement is about as logical as saying that Barbara Bush who is the mother of George W Bush became George W Bush! And his (T’s) statement is as logical as saying that by extension Barb became President! In reality, Barbara Bush was mother of the President and no doubt had his ear, though she had no power at all over him.
Even in times of despair and heartache where it would be so easy to chuck it all, a child of God will never lose his deep heart faith. He may run from God and try to live his life the way he wants, but it only leads to more heartache and after enough time goes by, he returns home. That is because his Heavenly Father has never given up on him, never stopped drawing him back, never stopped loving him and stands there waiting with open arms to welcome back and fully forgive because that is the kind of God he is and he never breaks his promises to us. God is NOT afraid of our doubts but is willing and waiting to answer everyone of them. We just have to trust him.
Well, I for one pray that you are never really tested.
Why does the clergy get such a pass on things other Christians would consider as sinful? Excessive drinking, smoking, cursing and telling dirty jokes sure doesn't sound like how a man who is "acting in the place of Jesus Christ" should be. Is it just me being a prude or does anyone else see a disconnect here?
The Bible Standard Conference(BSC) was formed in 1919 after Fred Hornshuh and several other ministers withdrew from the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) led by Florence L. Crawford. Hornshuh disagreed with the AFMs isolationist stance from other full gospel groups, centralized and authoritarian leadership style, and its strict position on divorce and remarriage.and
Thank you for that. I appreciate the prayers of the righteous. What makes you think I haven't been "really" tested already?
In December 1965, Chuck Smith became the pastor of a 25-person congregation and in 1968 broke away from the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel in Santa Ana, California. Before Smith became their pastor, twelve of the 25 members attended a prayer meeting about whether or not to close their church: they reported that "the Holy Spirit spoke to them through prophecy" and told them that Chuck would become their pastor, that he would want to elevate the platform area, that God would bless the church, that it would go on the radio, that the church would become overcrowded, and that he would become known throughout the worldwoo hoo! And it gets better!
In 1969, Calvary Chapel became associated with what later became known as the Jesus Movement when Chuck's daughter introduced him to her boyfriend John, a former hippie who had become a Christian. John then introduced Chuck to Lonnie Frisbee, a hippie Christian who would eventually become a key figure in the Jesus Movement and in Calvary Chapel. Lonnie moved into Chuck's home, and in a few days, more hippies moved in with Chuck and his wifeBut the sad thing is that this splitted (?!) group had it's own split
In 1982, John Wimber, a Calvary Chapel pastor, and the Calvary Chapel(CC) leadership mutually agreed to part ways. Tension had been mounting over Wimber's emphasis on spiritual manifestations leading Wimber to withdraw from Calvary Chapel and affiliate with a network of churches that would become the Association of Vineyard Churches (AVC)More Acronyms!
Critics, such as Hank Hanegraaf in his book, "Counterfeit Revival", charged the Toronto Blessing (under Wimber's authority at the time) with promoting heresy for three main reasons:Quix - - what do you think of these criticisms by Hank Hanegraaff an "evangelical radio-talk-show host" on this sub-sub-sect of the Pentecostals?
first, claiming unusual experiences of the Holy Spirit including physical responses, speaking in tongues, and prophesying;
second, claiming that these experiences of spiritual revelation were equal in importance to the Bible; and
third, claiming that these experiences were a sign that God was doing "something new."
NL, I’m sorry to say this, but I object to you calling groupings like the CC, AVC, etc. as a “church” — these are just cults, not Churchs like the ones among Protestants: Anglican, Methodist, Lutherans etc.
Is Pres a member of the Prosperity gospel sect? I wonder what happened to these proponents during the financial crisis?
