The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.
The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).
The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.
The Intentions Made Plain
The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:
"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization
"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.
"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.
"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.
"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.
|
Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.
This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!
In Their Own Words
The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments
First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.
This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.
Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.
How long has it been since you attended a Catholic Mass, if ever? Of course there is no Bread or Wine offered, but both the Body and Blood of Christ are.
Based on a casual reading of your posting history and the observation of your treatment of others,........
Looks like you're in big trouble.
Yeah. I Love God’s sense of humor.
Thx for your kind reply.
LOL!
Spartacus?
Yeah.
Sure.....
lol.
My free advice and worth every penny: Save your breath. Some have rejected the truth and show it in their posts.
Such comments have nothing to do with argument or with truth. They are a perversion of the general gifts of God. There’s no real there there. It is like fighting phantoms, a tiring and useless enterprise.
A mere technicality. Everyone knows.
How Pharisaical......
When was this discourse given.. on the way to celebrate the PASSOVER ..the prophetic meal celebrated by the jews.. that speaks not only of the event of God saving the jews from slavery , but also points directly to Christ as the true lamb of God..
Who was this discourse given to?
This was given to the crowd that He had fed with the loaves and the fishes the day before.. they had followed Him ,looking not for the Messiah ..but to have their stomachs filled..
What did Jesus do? He rebuked them
How did He do that ..He told them they only wanted food..when He was the real bread of life
Please note at the end of the chapter..PETER does not ask for bread.. instead He tells jesus that he has the WORDS of life..that is real food ..the word of God
AMEN! Wonderful, grace-filled teaching, RnMom! This is why I come to the FR RF - to learn how to "rightly divide the word of truth."
Jesus himself tells you in the same passage that the flesh profits nothing, the Spirit and the Word gives life, and the only life He's ever talking about is spiritual.
AMEN!
Which mass has that been read in lately?
Luke 8:9He said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, " 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'
AMEN!
I've asked many RCs why they thought Jesus spoke in parables. And I've never received an answer. You would think their inability would tell them something. Like maybe they should read the Bible and find the answer for themselves.
Up is down and down is up. God is love/hate.
This is exactly why it wouldn't hurt to offer at least a decade of every Rosary...
Definitely. And a prayer of thanks: for first-rate education on all varieties of heresy and excellent practice for living Jesus's commandments.
It was kind of interesting, too,
A, the late teen, young adult . . . probably 21 at the time . . .
felt sure The Lord told him to do the cartwheels.
But even though he’s pretty routinely obedient to The Lord, even he was reluctant to do that.
So he checks a few times with The Lord if that’s REALLY what The Lord is telling him to do.
And, FINALLY relents and just does it.
With the result described above.
It wasn’t as though the idea crossed his mind and he just did it immediately. The Lord had to firmly, almost sternly convince him that THAT WAS what THE LORD wanted him to do.
“So who has read Haggai lately? Answer: those of us who read the Office of Readings.”
Which mass has that been read in lately? After all, that IS what the issue is about, not whether any individual reads the entire Bible themselves personally.
The claim was made that the Bible is read in it’s entirety at each mass each day.

That is simply NOT humanly possible.
READING OF SACRED SCRIPTURE. While a partial indulgence is granted to those who read from Sacred Scripture with the veneration which the divine word is due, a PLENARY INDULGENCE is granted to those who read for at least one half an hour.
And next comes the criticism of some Roman Catholic authority urging RCs to open up their Bibles at home and read them...
But whatever anyone else claimed, I was referring to the Office of Readings.
The fact is that if one goes to Mass Daily one gets a very large portion of the Bible in two years. But not all of it. One gets more if one prays the Office of readings, but still not all.
It is a shame when people would rather find something to fight about than something on which they could agree. In any event, despite the falsehoods you may read here, Bible reading is encouraged in the Catholic Church, as I have shown above.
Works - filthy rags - are filthy rags - and can not do one thing - powerless! ONLY satan wants people to believe works are needed for salvation. ANYTHING to take away FROM JESUS!
We cannot take our next breathe without the mercy of God - how could filthy rags have any part in the greatest miracle of all - salvation.
If anyone thinks their works adds to their salvation - they are NOT saved! What they are saying is - The BLOOD of JESUS is not enough. And that means one thing - satan has claim to ALL THOSE he DECEIVED. His plan all along!
AMEN! Faith is a free gift from God to His own. We receive his grace; we don't barter it through any action on our part. Nothing we do can merit salvation. Christ merits it for us.
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." -- 1 John 4:10
