Jesus, was not "woohing" those who left. They were not real believers. The secrets of the kingdom were only given to the real disciples. Luke 8:9He said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, " 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'
AMEN!
I've asked many RCs why they thought Jesus spoke in parables. And I've never received an answer. You would think their inability would tell them something. Like maybe they should read the Bible and find the answer for themselves.

Like maybe they should read the Bible and find the answer for themselves. What? You mean to say that "RCs" have never answered you? Are you certain that it's inability? Christ Himself told us why He spoke in parables. And frankly, "RCs" likely do not feel themselves compelled to move at all, when Calvinists say "jump."

We know the answer, just some of us actually have other things to do. I was asleep when you posted.

I'm thinking the FR Catholic Defense Corp has caucused and decided it was a trick question. :-)
