Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

Do you happen to recall the Trinitarian claim that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit made a pact of their actions by a member of the Reformed?

No, and apparently you don't either.

Clear the cobwebs and maybe you'll see...

And Catholics attack non-Catholics about their view of the Trinity as if Catholics understand it.
What hubris Catholics display to claim to understand the infinite God.

where the "reformed" have an incorrect understanding of the Trinity,

I'll nominate: “Jesus’ body carried God.”

In a backpack? A holster? A wallet? When you depart from the Church, there is no end of weirdness that you can come up with...

Gibberish

You certainly appear to be the foremost FR expert on the subject. It'd be interesting to count up all the times that you have posted this word. I'd bet that you have posted this more than all other posters combined. Any takers?

It "reveals" that Mark's post was gibberish.

Talking about me again without the courtesy of posting to me? Is it because I am Catholic, or are you this discourteous to all that you deal with?

The problem is the catholic church is not a New Covenant church..it is an Old Testament church, having more in common with Judaism than the New Covenant.. it is a church of laws and traditions and sacrifices.. it is a church that has a salvation by keeping that Old Covenant

It is not a church of grace and mercy, it is not the church of Jesus Christ, because if it was He died in vain

Yes, and why do you take exception to the fact I called Mark’s post gibberish?

More discourtesy in not addressing me and commenting on my post. Telephone booth Reformed cultists really are objectionable shrews, aren't they?

Sorry, should have pinged you to the previous.

Appreciate it. Perhaps the Catholics are showing that they are more courteous than telephone booth Reformed cultists.

From the NASB, I Corinth 11:25. Also, see the Gospel of Luke on the Last Supper.

Truth be told, (that would be a nice change, huh?) we all face the problem of: Okay, I'm a Christian, now what? How does one, while remaining utterly dependent on God for every breath and every thought and intention, "make oneself pure, as He is pure?"

Let's pray for a time when we can put down the cudgels and assist one another along the way, across the river, and into the kingdom.

Hmm, very good. Definitely something that I need to think about today...

There is no apostolic succession taught in the scriptures, no priesthood, no pope, no mass etc.. all of that is extra scriptural and a lie from the pit of hell

Really? Perhaps you would like to express your theories as to why Martin Luther didn't express ANY of this in the "95 Theses" and, with the exception of the papacy, retained ALL OF IT in Lutheranism. What about Anglicanism because they never rejected it either?

You have stated on many occasions that you were raised Catholic. Based on this, one would assume that your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. were also Catholic and presumably some of them are now deceased. So, if your Catholic relatives died believing a "a lie from the pit of hell" is it YOUR OPINION that they are now burning in Hell? YES or NO (and if the answer is no, please explain why since their faith was based upon a "a lie from the pit of hell").

"Adam and Eve had a completely free will they could choose to do good or evil."

I am sure this is going to shock and horrify you, and I am speaking for myself, not for the Catholic Church, but I believe that Adam and Eve story is purely allegorical. Yes there was a first creature to possess the cognitive and sapient abilities to have both self awareness and a knowledge of right and wrong and it was indeed the first human. This creature was indeed created by God, but I don't believe that He used an abracadabra process to do it.

I do believe that these first humans consciously acted contradictory to the Natural Law and indulged their human nature, for human nature is the original sin and burden we all carry as the price of being human.

Scripture accurately portrays the tragic consequences of this first disobedience as the immediate loss of the grace of original innocence and holiness. As a result they became afraid of the God of whom they have conceived a distorted image - that of a God jealous of his prerogatives.

That distorted image of God as a vengeful, wrathful, angry God quick to condemn any perceived transgressor to a fiery hell is perpetuated to this day by cold, joyless, sterile Protestant Churches.

Step out into the warm sunshine of God's grace and love. Feel the comfort of forgiveness and redemption. Feel the joy of living Christ's beatitudes and realizing the promise, as Mother Teresa did, that he who is last shall be first. When you do you will find yourself embraced by Communion with Jesus and His Saints and on the other side of the Tiber.

Even the Vatican and Pope say there are Christian churches besides the Catholic Church...I don’t know why Catholics keep saying this unless it’s left-overs from the past.

Once again it seems there are Catholics not in agreement with Rome.

we have been told Paul and made stuff up was nuts and that the only important things are found in the red letter in the gospel

They need to read the Vatican website and see what the authors are saying there....they frequently quote Paul and use his teachings to support their articles. So does the Pope... So any Catholic who knocks Paul is not in sink with how Rome sees Paul.
