The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.
The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).
The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.
The Intentions Made Plain
The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:
"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization
"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.
"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.
"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.
"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.
|
Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.
This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!
In Their Own Words
The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.
This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.
Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.
There are days when I feel like Alex Trebel on Half Wits facing Darren Calvin, Blanche Luther, Arthur Nondenom and Lawrence Pentecostal.
Fun but at times, extremely trying. Our contestants are all tied for the lead, all at zero. No correct answers thus far, nothing even remotely correct.
Amen.
Now hold on! You have Pentecostal Catholics claiming they are also elect. Are they right?
So, Calvinists are intercessors between their fellow man and the Triune God?
Link?
You want serous? Be serious.
For the umpeen thousandth time it is NOT either/or it is both. You cannot have faith without works or works without faith.
read up on all the Chrasmatic Catholics like I did. Google is your friend, that’s what I get told
This reminds me of the "great gulf" which interferes with out communication. I'm not ignoring the Catholics who enjoy gifts different from mine. I'm troubled by them.
I'm troubled a little by the members of the class you are taking about who have a heretical ecclesiology, as I am troubled by other heretical or erroneous Catholics.
But we start out with different premises.
... with a scornful wonderfrom the conflict between the Judaizers through those in Corinth, and thence throughout our history. It is not wonderfully unusual for there to be heretics in our number. Wheat and tares after all. We are confident that soon the night of weeping
Men see her sore oppressed,
By schisms rent asunder,
By heresies distrest,
God is not the Father of all men ... We need to be adopted by Him to have Him as our Father
BTW that idea is straight from the Masons it is often carved in the stonework of Masonic temples
not to be confused with the asthmatic
Just the one Luther made.
The New testament church has no apostolic succession, no priesthood, no popes, not intercessors other than Christ. The NT church looks more like my church on any given Sunday.
but why are they heretics, I mean cmon, 3 popes approved the movement. They claim they have direct access to God which is certainly biblical. In fact, that looks like what is causing the split— some of them, not all, are reading the scriptures. Others are into the mysticism and having feelings, speaking in tongues and prophesying. The popes approved and are not condemning it.
Once again, it’s the unexamined blurring of “sinless” with “perfect” the assumption made but not noticed, that trips up the conversation.
No thanks. Either you link to it, or it didn't happen. After all, you are the one asserting it.
Man was made in the image of God....but an idol is made in the image of man.
The folly of idolatry.....
“All who make idols are nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless. Those who speak up for them are blind: they are ignorant to their own shame...........’The blacksmith takes a tool and works with it in the coals; he shapes an idol with his hammers, he forges it with the might of his arm”.....”The carpenter measures with a line and makes an outline with a marker; he roughs it out with chisels and marks it with compasses....HE SHAPES IT IN THE FORM OF A MAN, A MAN IN ALL HIS GLORY THAT IT MAY DWELL IN A SHRINE.”
He cuts down cedars, or perhaps took a cypress or oak....It is man's fuel for burning; some of it he takes to warm himself, he kindles a fire a bakes bread.
BUT...he also fashions a god and worships it; he makes and idol and bows down to it.
Shall I make a detestable thing from what is left? Shall I bow down to a block of wood? He feeds on ashes, a deluded heart misleads him.” Isaiah 44
Though this is old testament..the depiction of how images and idols are made is very much the same....they are made from wood,plastic,ceramic,plaster....and we use these substances for garbage bags...toys...buildings..appliances and hosts of other things...yet somehow they are transformed in the mind of one praying before them to represent something other than what they are.... “.....worthless before God.

That's close, but in true paganism of this sort, the statue itself has powers of the goddess. It is the confusing of the finite for the infinite that makes an idol an idol. Here, it is also another god - a double violation of the commandments.
In the case of Isis the image of a wounded Horus invoked the curative powers of the milk of Isis. [ As a side not: you can have both idols and images of the same god and both exist for Isis. Both are violations of the commandment against other gods, idols are against the commandment against idolatry]
In the whole of ancient Egyptian religion you have a great deal this bringing down of the deity into the world by use idols. Their most important ritual was the spells of the Book of the Dead which illustrates the concept most completely.
lol. And there's no wave of Pentecostalism ripping your old church apart.
