So, Calvinists are intercessors between their fellow man and the Triune God?
Living, breathing men are instructed by God to pray for our fellow men to the Triune God alone.
Prayer is for our benefit. It brings us closer to God. It reminds us how dependent we are on Him for everything. It reminds us other men share our burdens. It reminds us to be kind and empathetic as Christ was kind and empathetic.
do you think God doesn't know what we or other men need? That He has to be informed of that fact by us?
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him." -- Matthew 6:7-8"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
So if God already knows our prayers and what we need, why do we still ask Him for them? To make sure we know what we need and from whom all blessings flow.
