I guess I would wonder how Christians would feel if Arabs would go into a Christian Church to give out Arab stuff. I guess I feel if it is not your festival why do you bother going or give out stuff. I am a Catholic and don’t go into Jewish places to give out Catholic literature. Also as a Catholic, I don’t go into born again conferences to give out my literature there either. I guess I am more the mind your own business type person.

This was in public, on the street, not on private property.

Big difference between a Christian Church (PRIVATE PLACE) and a street festival (PUBLIC PLACE). You may be a catholic, but if standing by idly by and not lifting a finger while you allow certain groups of people to just traipse down the road to hell, than Christ is not in your heart. Christians preach the WORD, not only inside a safe church, but also at a gay pride festival in California, a market in Damascus, or a Soccer field in Swaziland.

The question is, if members of another religion were prophetizing outside your church would they be arrested? Would you want them arrested?

According to the story this was an Arab festival, NOT an Islamic festival. This would include Arab Christians and exclude Indonesian Muslims. So what is the problem with Christians proselytizing at a public, nonsectarian street festival?

It matters not that you don’t want to, It’s a matter if you have the right to under under our Constitution. Free Speech.

“I guess I would wonder how Christians would feel if Arabs would go into a Christian Church to give out Arab stuff”

It wasn’t in a private building, it was in the street.
THE STREET, THEY WERE ARRESTED FOR HANDING OUT LITERATURE IN THE STREET! Literature the Arabs did not like.

The Christians had their freedom of speech suppressed. Sorry our rights as laid out in the constitution offend you.

I believe this was an outdoor festival... public streets and all... You think they should have been arrested?

If it was reversed - and some Muslims had a booth at a street festival would you think they should be arrested?

Christians are obligated by Scripture to share the Gospel with those who do not know the Gospel.

Most of us don't have the cojones to follow the Biblical directive, some do. Praise God for them.
