I didn’t know a new creed version was in the works, so I’m not excited. I’ll just mull it over when it gets here.
I do very much like it that Catholics have a creed.
Our priest leaves out ‘men’ from creed...I wonder if he will still do that with this one.
I hope not...I still leave it in...

Actually, when we say the Credo at Mass, I do say “I” in all of the places that say “we”, but I say it silently so as not to distract anyone. Anyone recording me would be a little confused because I am dropping a word every now and then. :)
Thanks for posting. It is such a relief to see ‘credo’ translated as ‘I believe.’ It is a first person conjugation and to say ‘WE’ just drives me nuts.
