You had made the statement...”Choose to stay behind if you like...” and I took this to mean that the person you were posting to would miss out on the rapture because they either did not believe in the rapture or did not understand the teachings about the rapture. My understanding is that Jesus is returning for His people (those that believe in Him...see 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) and understanding the teachings about the end times does not appear as needed for the trip.
If I misunderstood the point you were trying to make I apologize.
