You had made the statement...”Choose to stay behind if you like...” and I took this to mean that the person you were posting to would miss out on the rapture because they either did not believe in the rapture or did not understand the teachings about the rapture. My understanding is that Jesus is returning for His people (those that believe in Him...see 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) and understanding the teachings about the end times does not appear as needed for the trip.

You don't need to apologize. I can see how what I wrote could be read a different way.
My meaning was that end-time events are occurring in our generation and so rapidly is everything falling into place that anyone who refuses to recognize the reality of what is going on around them and attempts to make the claim that all of the signs that Christ gave for His return happened 2000 years ago has chosen to be "left behind", so to speak, like someone who is still using their 1970 rotary telephone to call the operator to make phone calls for them.
