A couple of points in there that I should definitely take to heart. Anybody else?

1) Be charitable. If you are not making a comment out of love, you have no reason to make it.When Christ cleansed that temple out was he being charitable and was it done in LOVE?

1) Be charitable. It will drive your opponents nuts.

This only covers comments, to bad it does not cover anti-religion threads that are only created to bash a certain religion and to illicit negative diologue. That gets a wink and a nod sometimes.

Maybe they shouldn’t be posting things that do nothing but say “Our faith is better than your faith”

I’m encouaged that the writer didn’t ask WWPD (what would the Pope do)?
Just kidding.

12) Read the post (dont be a Slacker). Responding to something that you havent read is just obnoxious and foolish. Just ask Attorney General Eric Holder. But, but, what if you're a lazy clod and you just can't help it? I know, no excuses just like my TI use to say. Good ideas.

17) Don’t clutter up otherwise good sites with fluff from phony baloney, blow dried, TV preachers and then run tattling to the mod when people complain.

4) Do not leave really long comments
I never read a post over two or three paragraphs. If I see links in that long post as well I just scroll on past.

#17 Never give unsolicited advice! Particularly on posting.
#18 If, for some deeply irresistible need, you feel the urge to give advice, don't be disappointed if no one takes it.
#19 Do not attempt to psychoanalyze the deep seated emotional physchotic breaks that have occurred in the minds of posters who were rejected by their mothers and still compete for their father's love. Never try anything like that.
#20 Above all don't be thin-skinned and think the whole world is against you. The whole doesn't know you....yet.

Darn! Jesus and Paul and Jude missed that one!

Definitely some excellent points, but indeed they are a bitter medicine when one’s sacred ox is being thoroughly gored on a regular basis.
Ultimately it boils down to maturity, does it not?

**2) Do not comment when youre angry. Youll probably regret it and wont be able to undo it. Anything good to say will still be good in a few hours when the anger has worn off a bit. **
Definitely — I have had to leave the computer, leave threads, and so forth because I was so angry about the way people were attacking.
