SO, if I understand this right you’re saying that since Jesus had not yet been born that Mary and Joseph could not know the truth, and the spirit of God was not in them???

No I’m not saying that... we are talking about entities and if or not they are revealing themselves to us today or not. Some believe what they see are angels...as you mentioned. I asked what scriptures referenced we are to engage converstaion with entities and how does one determine they are angels...with the scripture you might reference.
You mentioned the Angelic announcement...my point is the spirit of God was sent at Pentecost...and now to each who acccepts the finished work of Christ as well. So therefore since Christ himself is within us why would anyone consider engaging angels or even determine if they are an angel...and what scripture would your reference to that.
