I am sure you understand that Latter-day Saints believe in both the Father and the Son. That they are separate individuals, but one in purpose. Both are perfect, both divine.
I don’t see a problem believing that. Jesus said “And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent”. That’s what I and all the faithful Latter-day Saints I know believe.

If they are two Gods, then the LDS are polythiests. “One in purpose” does not mean ONE GOD.
I am sure you have a lot invested in LDS, inc. Time, money, and emotion (I did), but LDS theology JUST DOES NOT MAKE SENSE and contradicts itself.
