What Catholics can do is cut off the monetary giving. If you give money do something specific for your local parish..maybe pay the phone bill one month, buy candles, etc. but do not give a penny to the local Bishop’s fund drives making it clear to the Bishop that you want no part of funding sexual abuse cover-ups or giving honor to someone like Pfleger.
