I gather you object to the word 'some'? I would apply 'some' to any denomination with the proviso that they acknowledge Christ and His role as Redeemer. That number of 'some' is up to God. Jesus knows his own

Referencing #631, as you know, I didn't write it. That much HTML is above my paygrade. Posting a hotlink is enough. At any rate what I get out of that post is opposition to the Vatican assuming the authority to define Christianity. That the temporal Church makes the call. See also pronouncements:

The Apostles were Catholics

The Catholic Church wrote the Bible

Jesus was a Catholic

I know that Catholics really don't find these things in their Catechism. They are strictly debating tools to use when defending their faith as they understand it against sometimes vociferous Protestants, who are well schooled in defense of their faith.

While the Catholic Church did have the honor of temporally shepherding the Scriptures, that honor should be affirmed in humility not hubris. The Holy Spirit ran/runs the process, not a work of man.

I'm not sure and am hesitant to tell Catholics what they believe, but for instance, is belief in the Immaculate Conception required by the Catholic Church for salvation? If so, that is also a bone of contention for Lutherans and likely other Protestants due to our holding of Scriptural sufficiency.

I can hate and do hate many things, but not fellow Christians en bloc. As I stated earlier, disagreements isn't hatred. Christians are commanded to contend for the faith. How ever imperfectly, that is happening here.

Did you read my post? You said "People in them that acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Savior of course. It may even include some large 'C' catholics. " --> do you believe that SOME Catholics may not be saved or do you imply that SOME may be saved.

As I stated earlier, disagreements isn't hatred.

Disagreements are not hatred. Repeated false statements in the same thread about what others believe, IS.

Christians are commanded to contend for the faith. How ever imperfectly, that is happening here. --> In a bunch of non-CAtholic posters, it is, in others, it isn't
