Jews in the town of Mitzpe Yericho are taking practical steps to prepare for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, by preparing descendents of Cohanim (priests) and Levites for service. At the Mitzpe Yericho school, Temple priest hopefuls learn exactly how to conduct the daily Temple service and offer the required sacrifices.
"Today is really a historical event for the Jewish people, organizer Levi Chazan said as another part of the school was completed. It is the beginning of the work for the Third Temple.
The school will include an exact replica of the Temple. The latest addition to the replica was the area in which priests offered wine and water libations. The water offering was traditionally given on the Sukkot holiday, which was celebrated last week.

I’m still waiting for you to post the Hebrew Scripture that states that The Messiah had to be a bloody sacrifice.
Leviticus 19
5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.
What do you make of the IF and YOUR OWN WILL???
You’re not going to get
HIS SIDE BEING PIERCED
as the prophecy declared and as happened . . .
without some blood.
That that verse has to be taken with the
WHOLE COUNSEL OF THE WHOLE OF SCRIPTURE
about sacrifices.
No... Way before that. Cain and Abel, AFAIR... I believe a guy named Abraham built an alter to the Lord... He was not a captive, nor borrowed the custom from the heathens... It was by the Lord's order. There are plenty of sacrifices mentioned prior to the institution of the Levitical system. And these offerings do not necessarily have the language of a sin offering - These are not necessarily for the remission of sin. Quite often these alters were just as thanks and recognition.
My best guess, ET,
given that you will not own up to being part of a group, yet, hereon this thread . . .
is that you are some variation of a
7th Day Adventist
or some non-Trinitarian 7th Day Sabbath keeping group.
Interesting . . . to a point.
Ezekiel's temple is a good start. It is the temple of the millennium, and offerings of bullocks and goats, sprinkling of blood, the whole 9 yards. The term "kipur (atonement)" is used throughout.
Yet the priestly service is different from the Hebrew norm, too... It is a different system, confirming that this is not merely an ongoing institution. Ezekiel's temple has not happened yet.
All of the great prophets speak of burnt offerings, sacrifices... At least those who speak of the time past the end of days.
What do you make of the IF and YOUR OWN WILL???
I prefer word studies with the NASB:
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
NAsbU Leviticus 19:5 'Now when you offer a sacrifice
of peace offerings to YHvH,
you shall offer it so that you may be accepted.
So, how is it . . . that Abel offered fat portions to The Lord without the spilling of blood?
Oh, Right, John Titor sent a General Electric laser back to Abel so the blood was minimized. But then minimized is not the same as nonexistent.
Yet again such assertions about no bloody sacrifices seem to crash and burn on the authentic Word of God.
Genesis 4
Cain and Abel
1 Adam [a] lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. [b] She said, “With the help of the LORD I have brought forth [c] a man.” 2 Later she gave birth to his brother Abel.
Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. 3 In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD. 4 But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
Thanks.
Been hoping you’d show up on this.
What a silly set of notions and assertions.
YOU have noticed the red line from Genesis to Revelation, haven’t you?
John 3:16 applies to everyone but that doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that the Church and Israel are two separate entities and are dealt with differently by God.
You need to read the rest of Lev 19 - to get the WHOLE meaning. After 5, read 6,7,8,9. Not to do so, you are willfully deceiving yourself and twisting what God is saying. NOT a wise thing to do! And, now you can never claim ignorance, because you are been told.
Because its meant to be the 'choicest or best'. Like the 'fat of the land'. Does dirt have fat?
That specific, detailed act by one man is not to be associated or confused with any other use of the word "abomination" in Scripture.
I’m not going to worry about it. I already showed and posted from Jeremiah how their exile expiated their sins. Their exile was their atonement. No blood was shed to forgive those sins, which shows that blood isn’t and wasn’t necessary to forgive sins. They moved forward not backward.
I don't think that the "abomination of desolation" is the setting up of the sacrificial alter in the Temple- as we know from Scripture, the Jews will already have that set up as there will be ongoing sacrifices that the Antichrist forces them to stop.
All the Bible tells us on this is that the Antichrist will stand in the Temple and declare himself to be God-since by the time this occurs the Antichrist will be completely possessed by Satan, maybe that is enough to so blaspheme the Temple that that is when the real horrors begin for the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation.
But the sacrificial alter will already be in place and in use by the time the Antichrist desecrates the Temple.
God knew of plans to overthrow His laws, it is prophesied throughout the Bible. A study of the Passover reveals the results of mans attempts to overthrow Gods law.
The name Passover is derived from the fact the avenging angel was to pass over homes with door posts covered by the blood of the sacrificial lamb.
The final curse in Egypt warned of the death of every first born child and animal in the land. Covering the door posts with blood would save the first born of the household.
This was not only a sign to the avenging angel, it was also an outward sign to every person passing by. This was a house worshipping the true and living God. The blood was a sign they were following His commandments.
ping me when you address #150
However there will be one individual, who has many, many names in Scripture but who is commonly known as "Antichrist", who will come to power sometime in the future and control the world, control the world economy, and force every single person on the planet to take a mark swearing allegiance to him or they will not be able to conduct commerce.
That person has never existed in the history of the world.
That's why I have to laugh when someone tells me that the events of Revelation took place in 70AD. You have to discard most of Scripture in order to actually believe that.
LOL You totally ignored what John said about those antichrists that left their group and spread falsehoods. But, I shouldn’t be surprised, I guess.
