An East Tennessee woman recently took a trip to Jerusalem with her church group, and she came back with a picture of Jesus.
Judy Mayes believes she captured an image of Jesus when she took a snapshot inside a tunnel near the Western Wall. When she flipped through the digital pictures, she saw a white figure on the tunnel image. She shared it with her pastor, who told her he thought it was Jesus. From the white robe, to blood trickling from the face to a crown of thorns.
While skeptics will certainly disagree with its authenticity, the Jesus photo certainly has more credence than the Virgin Mary burned into a piece of toast. Mayes told a reporter that Jerusalem was abuzz about her photo. She said people were climbing aboard the tour bus to view the picture on her camera.
Heres a link to the Tennesseans Web site. You can check out the photo and judge for yourself.
"Every time I go, I always take groups through the tunnel, because it's the site that gets you the nearest to where the Jews believe the Holy of Holies was in the first and second temple"...."The seamless white robe, what appears to be blood on the side of the face coming down onto the robe, what appears to be a crown of thorns on the head of this figure," Haun said. "The only conclusion I can come up with is the Lord honored us by allowing us to see a glimpse of His presence." -- from the WLTX news story on the photo.

But I have no worries, I do not need photos to convince me that Jesus is real.
Yep! That’s HIM!
Frankly it looks more like Tim the Enchanter to me:
Why is it that no one can ever get a CLEAR picture of Jesus... or the Loch Ness Monster... or Big Foot... or a UFO?
These wackos CLAIM they have a “picture of (fill in the supernatural blank)”, but their photos ALWAYS look like they were shot by a blind, one-armed, alcoholic with the DTs whose never used a camera before.
I don’t think this is the type of woman who would do that sort of thing, but you never know, interesting
What? An African Swallow or a European Swallow?
Sorry! “... WHO’S never used a camera before.”
Agreed entirely. You can even add to it all those TV shows where ghosts are investigated. Even in HD, you never see anything clearly. I personally think a lot of it is over-dramticized.
I don’t know. Oh... AHHHHhhhhhh!
That’s not Jesus, that is obviously Jeremiah.
(sarc)
who knows, but interesting nonetheless.
I honestly doubt J.C.’s wandering around STILL a bloody mess, like some sort of zombie messiah.
That pic gives me the creeps. God is not the author of confusion (and fear).
Only one image? Look to the right of the 2 X 4, there are two other images.
Is this the same woman who had the toast on eBay for sale that supposedly had the image of Christ burned into it?
“An evil and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. . . “ Matthew 12, red letters.
Well, I don’t know the woman but for the sake of discussing this, I’ll approach my view of this accepting the premise she didn’t do anything to this photo.
There are several explanations that could be possible.
The camera malunctioned, and there is some kind of image there that appears to look like a person.
The photo was later messed up during processing (if it was on film) or being printed out on a printer, and there is some kind of image added that appears to look like a person.
The photo was not doctored, and there is some kind of image there that appears to look like a person.
If it is genuine, I’d say the image is demonic. There’s no reason for Christ to have to appear as a smudgy apparition in some woman’s photograph. The face of this person looks distorted and bloody. Christ is no longer beaten and bloody. In fact Christ resurrected in His physical body that is now immortal and perfect, He is not an apparition nor would He appear this way. There is no need to. And especially to appear weak, even if this is in the area of His atoning death.
Christ is coming back in power and glory and everyone is going to KNOW it when it occurs. He is coming back powerful, and mighty, as King. Not like this.
