I am asking for prayer for my marriage. My husband [name deleted by Mod for poster's own protection] has committed adultery. I know God hates divorce and this appears to be the direction he is taking. Lots of issues involved...I won't go into here..but he needs to come to repentance and to allow God to heal his heart...and mine too. The pain is almost too much to bear at this point. Our marriage needs divine healing and that is what I am asking you to pray for. God is not through with us as a couple yet...we have much work to do. Satan has tried to put a monkey wrench in the mix...but God is greater. Thanks for praying...
ANother blame the victim cheer on the cheating scumbag post. I pray you are not married and especially pray you don’t have children since marriage vows mean or would mean nothing to you.
Well noobie it’s like this. Been here a long time nd have seen just about every scam, look at me, I need attention thread you could possibly imagine. I wonder why leenie hasn’t come back on the thread to justify her request?
First prayers this all works out but in my opinion God wouldn’t hate you for a divorce. You deserve better than Rick.
On a practical note call a lawyer and also make sure you know about the finances and such. The woman is a gold digging tramp (all women are in these situations) and if you get a hold of the money she’ll go spread them elsewhere.
Beat the wife as well as cheat on her? That’s what kind of person has a problem with this thread.

If there is any love left, fix the marriage. Get professional help and patch it up. I lost my wife 8 years ago this week and wish every day that there had been something I could have done to keep her. She took her life and there has been no one come close to a relationship that we had. You both still have a chance...go for it.
When I pray for someone, I am not picking sides. I let God sort out who needs what help. You are not God, oldbe.
A better question. Who are you? A newbie, to be sure. But apparently so new that you’re unaware that you’re in the Religion Forum....
the perfect place to request prayers from your freeper family.
I was merely asking a question.
I am so sorry. Try to take things one day at a time until you’re able to get a hold on your emotions, because trust me, you will be on an emotional rollercoaster for a while. (Been there, done that.) Freepmail me anytime you need to talk.
What was the insult?
M’aam, respectfully, this is not the venue. And use of his name is a bit inappropriate, IMHO.
Prayers going up for you, your husband, and your family.
Prayers to you for the loss of your wife. Don’t look for the relationship you had, look for the one God is going to send your way.
