I am asking for prayer for my marriage. My husband [name deleted by Mod for poster's own protection] has committed adultery. I know God hates divorce and this appears to be the direction he is taking. Lots of issues involved...I won't go into here..but he needs to come to repentance and to allow God to heal his heart...and mine too. The pain is almost too much to bear at this point. Our marriage needs divine healing and that is what I am asking you to pray for. God is not through with us as a couple yet...we have much work to do. Satan has tried to put a monkey wrench in the mix...but God is greater. Thanks for praying...

Why don’t you just stay off the prayer threads. You don’t have a clue and that is okay. Live and learn.
Leenie, I am praying for you and Rick and please know I have seen love and prayer work before to heal betrayed relationships. Focus on love (not tolerance or acceptance)... All the dark stuff won’t help now. Process that later and now - separate from him - not with him.
Main thing - learn to take care of yourself and be yourself - whole and complete - so you will be okay no matter what happens.
God hates divorce EXCEPT in the case of adultery. It is the only grounds for a divorce in God’s eyes. Our pray is that He will heal your relationship but your willing to hold your marriage together in this difficult time is evidence of your walk with God.

You suggest people pray for America in your sign. line, and then you insult a woman coming here for prayer to heal her marriage. Why are you acting like that?
God does not judge you on how others treat you; He judges you on how you react.

I went back and read some of her threads first. I was right with what I wrote and I'm not even sure I believe the story at all.

Leenie, I will send up prayers for you and your marriage, but be advised, should God bless you and keep your marriage together, it will not be an easy road. You will find that at times you will ask yourself if it is worth it. I know. My wife cheated on me and it was with another woman, not another man. It took a while to rebuild everything to where it was. A lot of prayers and no matter how bad you want to, if you are to stay together, never throw what happened in each other’s face durng an argument.
Hopefully, it will workout for you.
