Over the years, as certain topics garnered more attention, freepers asked to be added to the list. The list grew through the sex abuse crisis and the failing health and ultimate death of our beloved Pope John Paul II.
The list is now quite large. Freepers come and go and it's now time to trim the list. If you have been pinged to this thread through the list and wish to remain on it, please post a "Yes" response. If you are not on the list and wish to be added, please post an "Add me" response. This thread will remain up for one week after which the list will be trimmed back to the "Yes" and "Add me" names.

Thank you for the response. Your name has been placed on the new ping list. As for "some people on Freerepublic who hate us Catholics!!!", Archbishop Sheen provided the most salient explanation.
There are not over a 100 people in the U.S. that hate the Catholic Church, there are millions however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church, which is, of course, quite a different thing.
Your job, if you choose to accept it, is to refute their arguments and properly educate them in the true teachings of the Catholic Church. That entails some personal study of the Catechism and apologetics. When you received the Sacrament of Confirmation, you became a Soldier of Christ. It's time to put on the "breastplate" of Christ, as St. Paul reminds us, and defend your faith. You can do it! We're all counting on you.
