BE PREPARED TO WAR AS NEVER BEFORE !
The Joshua Chronicles | Jesus the author and finisher

Posted on 09/09/2009 1:20:32 PM PDT by Jedediah

Your going to see things move very quickly now for I AM aT the fronT of this battle against darkness and the taking back of my land .

Be prepared to war against the enemy as never before and remember the armor of Jericho for the walls of the enemies encampments Shall go down in great tumult amidst your war cries and the blast of the trumpet for you are my shofars of delight .

Now do my bidding and assault the fortresses of kerioth and lance all her rulers that " Lie " within her by the filling of my spirit and the washing of my water as my Blood( Testimony of Jesus Christ , Coals of fire from the throne ) touches their lips for it is a new and better covenant I vring to these nations(people)and Land .

Joshua 4:10-23

10 Now the priests who carried the ark remained standing in the middle of the Jordan until everything the LORD had commanded Joshua was done by the people, just as Moses had directed Joshua. The people hurried over, 11 and as soon as all of them had crossed, the ark of the LORD and the priests came to the other side while the people watched. 12 The men of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh crossed over, armed, in front of the Israelites, as Moses had directed them. 13 About forty thousand armed for battle crossed over before the LORD to the plains of Jericho for war.

14 That day the LORD exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they revered him all the days of his life, just as they had revered Moses.

15 Then the LORD said to Joshua, 16 "Command the priests carrying the ark of the Testimony to come up out of the Jordan."

17 So Joshua commanded the priests, "Come up out of the Jordan."

18 And the priests came up out of the river carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD. No sooner had they set their feet on the dry ground than the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and ran at flood stage as before.

19 On the tenth day of the first month the people went up from the Jordan and camped at Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho. 20 And Joshua set up at Gilgal the twelve stones they had taken out of the Jordan. 21 He said to the Israelites, "In the future when your descendants ask their fathers, 'What do these stones mean?' 22 tell them, 'Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.' 23 For the LORD your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The LORD your God did to the Jordan just what he had done to the Red Sea [a] when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over.

We saints need to speak the truth with love. I knew I was a target as soon as I posted. I saw the flak you were taking, and knew you were over the target as well...

Paul had a lot to say to the Roman church. There were mostly Jews in the congregation, and they were bound to the old dispensation. Paul makes it clear where we get salvation. Many who listen to Rome still cling to the old ways...

Romans 2: 17 Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and brag about your relationship to God; 18 if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law; 19 if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— 21 you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? 22 You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? 24 As it is written: "God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you." 25 Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised. 26 If those who are not circumcised keep the law's requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised? 27 The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.

28 A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29 No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.

He is risen...

Cross roads are places where decisions are made ,

But are you standing in the light or in the shade ?!

For truly without me you remain in the dark ,

And your defenses are weak not strong as a tree of oak and its bark ,

For it is under My shade and My Son ,

That you arrive on Mt. Zion ,

So tell me my children what will shall it be ?!

The will of your flesh or My Tapestry ?

For to carry your cross again and again ,

Leaves you with a bitter end ,

So “ Come “ bring all your life’s matters to me ,

Through My Son Jesus your Tapestry !

HEBREWS 6:4-8

4For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit,

5and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,

6and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.

7For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God;

8but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.

Matthew 7:2 (Amplified Bible)
2For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.

Proclaim this among the nations: ‘Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ Assemble and come, all you nations, and gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD. Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.” Joel 3:9-13

***Roman Catholics (and those who refuse to use the Roman tag) have been taught all of their lives that the Church is responsible for their salvation.***

We are not taught that and it is written nowhere. You keep posting stuff like this and we keep telling you that it is wrong. Do you have any more proofs than last time we talked?

***But God gives us the Holy Spirit as a teacher, if we ask. If we ask the RC priest, we will get a RC answer. It doesn’t matter that the Bible forbids most of their liturgical display with smells and bells.***

Do you have any examples of forbidden smells and bells?

***It’s much more comfortable to sit in a pew and stand or kneel according to rote, than to sit in a still place waiting to hear from God.***

Do you kneel before God?

***Paul wrote to the Roman church...

...It’s easier to have a prescribed role rather than the flow described by Paul. ***

I thought that you were a Christian. Christians pay attention to Christ and His words, noting commentary from others, such as the bishops (Peter, Paul, James) through the prism of Christ. If one starts with only one bishop (Paul) and then reduces the view of the infinite God to the finite views of one man, then the belief system developed is far different, and not the Christianity of the early Church.

Again, we come to the idea that many self described Christians do not follow the belief system of Christianity - and the repudiation of the beliefs of the Apostles is a very good indicator.

Regarding your quote from Joel 3, if you read it in its context, it is not a call from God in which He is telling His people to prepare for war. He is not even addressing His people in this particular group of Scriptures.

Rather, God is calling the nations of the world to prepare themselves for war. These nations are to gather themselves together for war AGAINST God. God is simply challenging these nations that, if they seek to battle Him, they had better prepare themselves.

It is crucial to read the Scriptures in their context.

Fellow FReeper. I can't debate you on your terms. The platform you choose is not an equal one. You assume facts NOT in evidence. I am not posting to you for my own purposes. I am a Christian, though I don't swear allegiance to any Pope. Jesus said not to call any man father. Yet, you expect me to accept the "Holy Father" in Rome as Christ's sole leader on Earth.

No thanks. I will trust my soul to the only Mediator I need! You're just another Pharisee, as far as I've seen!

Mark 7: 1 The Pharisees and some of the teachers of the law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus and 2 saw some of his disciples eating food with hands that were "unclean," that is, unwashed. 3 (The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders. 4 When they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. And they observe many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pitchers and kettles.)

5 So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, "Why don't your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with 'unclean' hands?"

6He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:
" 'These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.

7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are but rules taught by men.'

8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."

9 And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! 10 For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.' 11 But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: 'Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban' (that is, a gift devoted to God), 12 then you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. 13 Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that."

14 Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. 15 Nothing outside a man can make him 'unclean' by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him 'unclean.'

17 After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. 18 "Are you so dull?" he asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'? 19 For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")

20 He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' 21 For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'

I don’t care what YOU think of Jedediah. I care what GOD thinks. Do not be a mocker. You may be very sorry one day if you come up against God’s anointed, and I believe Jedediah to be anointed by the Lord and hears His voice.

You believe he is. I believe (for reasons stated above) that he isn't.

***Fellow FReeper. I can’t debate you on your terms. ***

They are not my terms. They are the terms of Jesus Christ, Scripture the early Church, the Fathers, and the Catechism. I am humbled and grateful to be following the Church of Christ; I make no terms, I do not set them, and I do not follow the terms of men.

***The platform you choose is not an equal one. ***

Of course not. The platform of Christ is not the platform of the world. He said that over and over again through His Ministry. Lay down your very life and follow Him. Not the hubris of the Reformation.

***I am not posting to you for my own purposes.***

With respect, it very often seems that you are. Your self-developed points (which you very much hold up in pride in your posts) are trumpeted and displayed with the accompaniment of your own beliefs. I believe the Church; I defer to it. It is the creation of Jesus which should trump the purposes of any man.

***I am a Christian, though I don’t swear allegiance to any Pope.***

How do you know that you are a Christian? And why should you swear allegiance to any Pope?

***Yet, you expect me to accept the “Holy Father” in Rome as Christ’s sole leader on Earth. ***

I expect nothing. It is Scripture which identifies Peter as the steward of Christ. The stand in who serves to watch over the kingdom here on earth while the King is away. I do not and can not expect anything of another. It is not my place. I can advise based upon Scripture and the Catechism but not expect.

***No thanks. I will trust my soul to the only Mediator I need! You’re just another Pharisee, as far as I’ve seen!***

Well and good. I try to follow the commands of Jesus including such things as Communion with the Body and Blood of Christ; with the commands of Matthew, and Mark and Luke; with His expectations of me throughout the Gospels. I will be Judged upon my Imitation of Christ. A rather poor one, I must admit, but I am honest in it.

Yes, we do have our share. The floor of hell is paved with bishops’ skulls.
