one has to get one’s hip waders on just for survival’s sake.
It’s pretty routine to then have to muck about in the rain soaked hog-wallow trying to lead some of the little piglets to the dry ground of eschatological sanity and Biblical accuracy.
Sometimes calling hogwash hogwash in the process helps clarity.

Walter Martin was a post-tribber. He and Hal Lindsey got along fine. Lindsey spoke very highly of him several times on his radio show.

That tends to be the case, I’ve been accused of being gnostic, a closet JW, a closet Adventist, and all kinds of stuff for believing in a pre-trib rapture. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong, and I don’t call anyone names or try to link them with discredited faiths or theories.
But something about the rapture really ticks some of our brethren off, and makes them behave rhetorically much like our liberal political opponents. Wailing and gnashing of teeth.

There must be some extrapolation construing “power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues and nations . . . “ to somehow involve computers.
It’s quite plausible that it does. But that’s not per se clear in the text by quite a margin.

The Alien - Nephilim Connection
Having been a lurker on this site for a couple of years, I have seen quite a few threads espousing this theory that aliens are the Nephilim that the Bible speaks of. I have not, however, come across anyone who had this opinion that also backed it up with evidence. So I ask those of you who hold this belief, to tell me why you hold this belief? What intelligent evidence has brought you to this idea that aliens and demons and the Nephilim are one and the same?
As a student of comparative religion, mythology and anthropolgy, I have my own ideas on this, and I can safely say that they do not coincide with this theory. So, I’m asking you to tell me why you think this is the case.
