I think it behooves us to prayerfully consider that the revived Roman empire will not be the EU, as has long been assumed, but rather Sarkozy’s pet project, the Mediterranean Union. I’ve seen a map of his proposed MU overlaid on a map of the biblical-era Roman empire and it sends goose flesh rippling.

One. For the church on earth. The remnant may be martyred during the tribulation or they may survive. The survivors will see Jesus come back to earth to bring God’s wrath.
Among the Acts of the Apostles one might consider the writing of the Book of Revelation to be one of them.
You do not appreciate that particular work? Was John not a Church Father? Do you realize just how you come across? You seem to be of the mindset that the Church did not begin until Constantine made it official.
I think that you have dug a hole for yourself on this issue, and it is surprising that you would choose to continue entrenching yourself within it.
1 Pet 2:5 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Jesus said these statements in the Revelation of Christ.
Rev 3:12 12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. (NKJ)
Rev 21:2 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (NKJ)
Here is what Jesus said of the saints. He does not say they are guest of the Bride and the Groom but are the New Jerusalem. They over came they endured to the end. Yet the doctrine of the rapture has made saints something other than what Jesus said they will be and that is wedding guest or some second class saint.
Interesting I had never heard of this... I think you may have something here...
Off to surf on this somemore..
Thank you for sharing...
Well put.
Thx.
Plausible, to me.
Thx.
Maybe I had more of a memory trace than I thought! LOL.
That’s kind of where I thought you were on it.
And, amazingly . . . most of where I am on it.
Blessings,
I know of no one who loves God and His kids . . .
the least bit interested in anyone suffering less of God’s best than absolutely necessary.
Hmmmmmm.
Thx.
Not everyone
has keen discernment to know
when
to
STOP DIGGING! LOL.
Perhaps in your construction on “reality.”
Not in mine.
My goodness, what rage you have. Like I said before, it looks as though you have a serious problem with God, have decided to deny what He clearly said about how He will wrap up this present Church age, and feel some need to accuse those who take God at His word and who believe what he says as having “arrogant destructive religious pride”.
If you get something out of hurling accusations and engaging in name-calling, by all means, be my guest. It won’t change what I know to be true, it won’t change what is happening in the world that is the literal fulfillment of Bible prophecy, it won’t change God’s promise to those who know Him that we will not be here to suffer His judgments, and it won’t change the eternal destiny of the one who hates enough to post such rage, postings which reveal something about you and the state of your heart.
WELL PUT, imho.
IT does not matter what I think about you. It matters what is in your mind, 'sealed' and written in the scroll. I am nothing more than a mere servant, planting the 'seeds' of truth, if it be possible to germinate by the Hand of the Heavenly Father though His sent Saviour. NOT the pretender who has worked equally hard in planting look alike from the human flesh eyes seeds. We are told who does the 'harvest'. And to NOT be taken out of season.
Uhhhhh . . . OK.
I think that’s a bit clearer.
Cheers.
It is not a construction of reality. It is a question of what a two part return of Christ does to His body His Bride and the New Jerusalem. It turns part of His body into something that is not in the bible. So therefore it is not biblical.
