Any idiot who sees that happen and doesn’t believe in God, they’re already meat for the Beast. I’ll do what I can, but I am not going to allow myself to be left behind. I I do step away, it’s because I don’t want to go to heaven without knowing that those close to me are going too.

The War of Gog and Magog
None will understand this until they study the Standard Works of The Church of Jesus Christ which connects the dots from the beganning of existance down to this day and age that we live.
But like so many who have proven they love to “Kick against the prick!”
It’s reminds me of those “Who would Cut off ones nose to spite their face!”
One does not have to be LDS to read these things, nor will those who hearts are harden be able to receive understanding of what is on the written page!
The rapture happens before the Tribulation period, not after. This war in Gaza is not Armageddon. But I’m sure, by all of the protests, that it will make it easier in the future for other nations to gather against Israel after the rapture. Things look like they are headed that way.

Rev 20:8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
However, this occurs after the millenium, a thousand years after the 2nd coming of Christ:
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
Rev 20:7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison
Satan is released after being bound and then the Gog/Magog war happens.
This matches up with the reference to the Gog/Magog war in Ezekiel:
Eze 38:2 "Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
Eze 38:8 After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.
They're dwelling safely because it's been the millennium
Eze 38:11 You will say, 'I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates'—
They're unwalled and peaceful because people have been living in peace and safety for a thousand years.
This event:
Rev 20:9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
match up with these events:
Eze 38:16 You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes
Eze 38:22 And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
The Incarnation, Atonement, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ are downright trivial compared to this, right?
There are many problems associated with interpreting today’s headlines as fulfilling Revalations, as attested to by centuries of such attempts.
It ignores the admonition that “No man knows the hour or the season”.
It pretends that all of the evil is external and ignores our own sins.
Does the author really believe that the West will escape the wrath of God?
The nations spoken of by Ezekiel in chapter 38 were all located in Turkey not Russia and Germany as some believe. Other then Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (kinda where Sudan is now), and Libya the other countries mentioned were in Asia Minor.
That’s not to say Russia wont be a behind the scenes supporter which I think they will be but they are not the ones doing the invasion (or attempted invasion).

One obvious problem with the analysis is that the only mention of Gog and Magog on the NT is found at the close of the thousand years (Rev. 20). This should prove unsettling for a futurist Israel-centered theology.
