Yeah, DU posted:
“My personal feelings on this are pretty strong, I think Jesus Being a perfect son will take umbrage at anyone insinuating that his mother was not chaste and virtuous. Personally, I pity the fool who ticks him off by insulting his mother, and then sits before him on judgment day. (Not a smart move no matter what you believe that we believe...)
Mary is Joseph’s wife, and was chaste and virtuous, you do the math.”
That would make Brigham a what ?????
President Brigham Young implied that Mary was actually the wife of God: The man Joseph, the husband of Mary, did not, that we know of, have more than one wife, but Mary the wife of Joseph had another husband. (Deseret News, Oct. 10, 1866) Apostle Orson Pratt confirmed that Mary was, in fact, the wife of God and also went on to try to justify what would seem to be an immoral act:
The lesson today boys and girls.
KNOW YOUR DOCTRINE!!!
I think Jesus Being a perfect son will take umbrage at anyone insinuating that his mother was not chaste and virtuous.

We dont know about that as there is no record of Jesus ever deoing so...
but we do have a record of Jesus “taking umbrage at someone insinuating that His mother was blessed just because she was His mother ...”
Luk 11:27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed [is] the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
Luk 11:28 But He said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. Luke 11:27, 28
but we do have a record of Jesus “taking umbrage at.... His mother ...”
Jhn 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, They have no wine.
Jhn 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. John 2:3, 4
Odd that...
the mormons readily say ugly things about Mary and then turn around and pretend to “defend” her...
I think Jesus Being a perfect son will take umbrage at anyone insinuating that his mother was not chaste and virtuous.

Jesus takes umbrage at the mormons for more than that...
Close; but not quite...
The lesson today boys and girls:
KNOW WHAT WAS TAUGHT IN THE PAST AND APPARENTLY IS still IN FORCE!!
The lesson SHOULD be...when someone knows YOUR doctrine, don't call them liars lest they provide proof from your leaders!
OUCH!
