Merry Christmas from Target
Target Corp

Posted on 11/26/2008 3:46:37 AM PST by rempaulrevere

This was a response I received from Target Corp when I asked if Christmas was being removed from their stores. Paul

""Target tries to meet the needs of every guest throughout the year by providing the items that they want and need to celebrate the traditions important to them.

Our intention is to make every guest feel welcomed and acknowledged, whether they celebrate Christmas or other holidays. This year’s theme is “Christmas Wrapped” and is all about helping guests save money – and time.

As we have for several years, Target uses the words Christmas and Holiday equally in an effort to celebrate the season with all of our guests. We don’t direct our team members to extend a certain season greeting; they may offer our guests any expression they wish including Merry Christmas.

Thanks for writing. We're happy to help you find the perfect gift – for any occasion.""

Sincerely,

Jennifer Hanson Target Executive Offices [THREAD ID:1-5NNJST]

Tagert is owned by a French company that is trying to shut down regigious braodcasting via fcc petition and is contracted to manage concentration caqmps in north Texas.

And they're funneling corporate profits to the Church of Satan. I saw it on the Donohue show. They refuse to hire heterosexuals, their sodas are laced with special chemicals to make black people sterile. They ordered all Salvation Army bell-ringers to be taken out back and shot.

(The other urban legends were feeling left out.)

I have no problem with the “Christmas” policy outlined in the original post. Seems very reasonable to me.

Reasonable? Good God, man, what the hell kind of time is this to be reasonable? Haven't you heard that there's a war on Christmas? Pick a side!

They boot the salvation army, sell sexually suggestive clothing for children....

Using the word christmas won’t undo those horrific wrongs.

Jews make up only about 2% of the American population; Christians make up about 80%. Beginning to see the silliness of your “point?”

Ah yes, public ‘education’ in America today.... ever wonder why home schooling is at record levels? Every propagandist knows the importance getting them young for the cultivation of ideas. The “multiculturalism” drumbeat is simply another tool meant to erode, disrupt and destroy the Anglo fabric upon with America was built. You should see the SEGREGATED schools in Israel. Non-Jewish kids are treated as second class citizens with inferior schools. The Israelites don’t seem to practice what they preach do they?

K-Mart wasn’t shy at all about the “C word” at a store
locally a couple of years back. I made sure I bought the stuff I could there, including over $100 worth of decorations. I avoid any business that avoid the “C word” for any reason. This nation is still over 80% Christian.

Still won’t shop at Target until they let the Salvation Army bellringers stand in front of their stores.

They may talk a good talk, but they don’t walk the walk.

SHEESH! My comment was meant to say “You work for Target’s competition?”, but seems many didn’t get the joke. I guess one would have had to have read the article to understand that.

The Target representative clearly stated in their response posted in the article that they do not interfere with their employees choice of greetings, and that the Target Company recognizes all religious events that take place during that same time period.

Seems to me and multiple other commentors on this thread that the article posted by the “Newbie” was stirring up stuff where no stuff existed.

I have noticed that Wal Mart is sourcing their merchandise from other countries than China more and more. Encouraging.

You would shop there even if they support Planned Parenthood?

At least Wal-Mart has grants for Christians!

Yes, they have removed Christmas in some ways — not support Salvation Army Bell Ringers is enough reason for me to stay away.

Supporting Planned Parenthood is another reason.

Just found that Minnesota and South Dakota Pro Life Action Ministries got Target to stop giving to Planned Parenthood.

48 states to go.

Or if you are Obama — 55 states to go.

The Jewish People aren’t over what the Third Reich did to the Jewish People.

As a Christian, I will continue to pray for the Jewish people and never look down on them regardless of what others may say or think.

God First then the rest follows.
