Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment

Obama: “If they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”
Saint Pius X (Latin: Pius PP. X) (June 2, 1835—August 20, 1914), born Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto, was the 257th Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, serving from 1903 to 1914, succeeding Pope Leo XIII (1878–1903). He was the first pope since Pope Pius V (1566–72) to be canonized. Pius X was a fervent reformer of Church practises and regulations, such as Canon Law, his most important reform, which for the first time codified Church law in a central fashion. He was a pastoral pope, encouraging personal piety and a life-style reflecting Christian values.

Great thread, Salvation.

Have some Popes been scoundrels over the centuries? Sure. But the vast majority of them were wonderful, saintly, scholarly men.

Pope John Paul II did so much with cameras present and no doubt so much more when they weren’t to show a forgiving spirit and a willingess to acknowlege that bad things had been done in the church’s name.
