My wonderful husband (Ron) is in his last week of his fourth tour in Iraq with the USAF (he's a pilot with a special ops unit.) For some reason, I've just been very anxious / sleepless the last few nights worrying about his safety ... he is scheduled to come home in a week, by the way.
* Please pray for his continued safety, for successful missions, and for his timely and hassle-free "out processing" * Please pray for his travel home, including connections and layovers. (He should be on military transport until he reaches the US East Coast, then catches commercial flights home to California.) * Please pray for my peace of mind, anxiety and worry. (I am prone to panic attacks)
And can I say that my wonderful DH is a strong man of God who is in his 25th year of military service? And that I am soooo looking forward to his homecoming?

Hi - will pray for hubby’s safe return.
BTW it’s quite normal to get more anxious the closer the time is to his return. It seems like all the concerns are somehow compressed and focused into this smaller space of time.
Don’t let yourself become a prophet of doom though and speak words of faith towards his return.

Lord, bring Ron home safely. Bring all our troops home safely in good time. We pray for peace through victory, that our troops will not have died in vain. Amen.

I thank you for Molly and her brave husband. I pray that you would bring him home safely and bless their reunion. I pray for Molly, that the peace that surpasses all understanding would guard her heart and her mind and that her anxiety would turn to joy, anticipation and excitement. I thank you now for her husband’s safe return home. We thank you for his willingness to serve and protect this nation we were so blessed to be born in. All this I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
