I saw a car a few years ago with a bumper sticker that said “Warning, in case of Rapture, this car will be unmanned.” Two things hit me: First, a woman was driving the car. Second, would God really leave a car careening driverless down the road just to effect a far-fetched interpretation of scripture?

I saw a bumper sticker that read:
“In Case of Rapture, Can I Have Your Car?”

That’s pretty much what happened in the Left Behind novels. People raptured right from their day to day lives and whatever they were doing (IE driving a car) continued on without them...much chaos insues.

Disease, nuclear weapons and other evil is rampant
Most signs of civilization have been rendered useless
You were left behind to face Satan and unbelievable suffering, so...
“Honey, did you check the e-mail?”

Out of curiosity what would happen if these five didn’t get raptured and kept coming to work?
