With God all things are possible. On February 6 little Aadon Olmstead suffered traumatic head injuries by the hands of his mother's boyfriend. Today little Aadon is still fighting for his life. The doctors have taken him off all life support and have not fed him or given him water for 9 days now. (Another Terri Schiavo?) But God is greater than this situation...I am believing for a miracle to happen in this case...that the little boy will regain consciousness and enjoy a good and fulfilling life. Please pray for his restoration to his family and that by this miracle, many will be brought to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Prayers Up!
Prayers out. Please Merciful Lord, let this child know he is loved.
It appears he will be in a much greater place than here, shortly - Lord embrace him quickly and let him know how special he is to you.
PRAYERS FOR LITTLE AADON.

First off I would like to say that I am Aadon’s maternal grandfather. All this bickering back and forth and blaming each other is pathetic and makes me sick. There is one person to blame Jesse Snow he is the one that did this to my grandson. Are others to blame? Maybe. Are there people that could have prevented this? Yes. We could sit here and point fingers at each other all day but that does not change the outcome of what happened, my grandson still lays there in that hospital bed with little to no hope of recovering.
I’ll be the first to say my daughter Holly that I love very much is the main one that could have prevented this from happening along with anyone else who had any knowledge of Aadon being bruised or mistreatment from Jesse. There is such a thing as immediate full custody of a child. He could have been brought to the doctors and evaluated and then if you go to the court house with the medical evidence there is not a court around that would not take action in a situation like that. See I can point fingers and it does not change the outcome my grandson still lays there in that bed fighting for his life with no change, as far as I know because on the 11th the news contacted me about keeping Aadon’s story going so that people would not forget what happened in hopes to prevent this from happening to any other unfortunate children. I thought it was a good idea to keep it going so that no one would forget what happened and to open other people’s eyes about the abuse that happens to children everywhere. As upset and disgusted that I am with this whole situation I was not prepared to speak on television so reluctantly my significant other who I have been with for sixteen years, that Aadon also knows as grandma, spoke on our behalf. The worse that was said was that we believe that this could have been prevented. We also gave them a five minute slide show we made of Aadon, which they showed very little of. As soon as a preview for the 11 O’clock news was over we had a phone call from Holly telling that we are not welcome at the hospital and not to show up ever again. The next day when I went to go see Aadon I was informed by Aadon’s father Jim that I am not welcome at the hospital to see Aadon and that if I did not leave he would call security on me. Nobody is more disgusted with them as I am. It takes a complete monster to keep someone who Aadon loves from visiting when he is fighting for his life. So if anybody has a right to complain and be upset it is me. I have not only lost a grandson that I love dearly I also wash my hands of my oldest daughter.
We will continue to fight to keep Aadon’s name alive so that no one forgets the most polite, adorable, and loving child known. We will continue to fight to get something changed so that no other innocent child or their families have to go through the pain and suffering that everyone surrounding Aadon is going through now.
Aadon we love with all our hearts and we are here for you no matter what, don’t let anyone tell you any different.”
GODSPEED!
May God put His healing hands upon this precious, innocent child.
Prayers
God gave us free will and allows us to make good and evil choices. Your thoughts are no different than the thousands that perished in Nazi concentration camps or Russian gulags. To be honest, it is one of the greatest mysteries of God and countless philosophers and theologians have written on it.
There is a reason why we believe in an earth and a Heaven. Earth is not Heaven; and awful, faith-killing things happen here every day. The challenge is to not let other’s evil choices kill your faith.
Personally, I think a trip down a couple of flights of stairs, tumbling, would be a good start. Kind of give him the feeling of what he did to that precious boy. Then he can spend the rest of his life behind bars, with folks who don't take kindly to people hurting innocent children.
I am sorry you feel this way. We are all given free will ...a gift from God. Some people use their gift for good and others use it for evil. In this case, a little boy is suffering because another of God’s creatures used his free will to vent his rage. There are stories in the Bible about people born with crippling diseases which God used to bring glory to himself...by having Jesus heal them in a miraculous way. Many who saw the healing came to believe in Jesus. My nephew almost died from a mysterious ailment..the dr’s never knew what caused it...when we heard he was sick, our church prayed for complete healing...we prayed till the spirit left us...the next morning his mother called to say that his blood count was normal and that the doctor’s couldn’t explain it. My sister in law came to know Jesus because of this. I was healed of a torn retina...didn’t lose my sight or need surgery...but it did reinforce my belief in God’s healing power. One day torn retina...went to a healing service and next day...restored eyesight. God can.
What satan means for evil, God can turn around to the good. Who knows what will happen because of this. My hope is that Aadon is healed and restored to normalcy, but another concern is also for his family who do not know the Lord. I am hoping that they will see a miracle and come to know God in a personal way. Why didn’t God protect him?...only He knows...but I also know that God’s plans are a lot bigger than my puny brain can imagine...I just have to trust that He has everything under control.
I wonder if this would have happened had the little boy’s parents or grandparents aunts or uncles..if only one of them knew God and knew the power of prayer to protect him. If they had fallen on their knees to ask God to cover him...would we be here today? But from what I have heard many people in the family knew abuse was going on and they did nothing...as did social services. The odds were stacked against him.
I know God can and does miracles...and I am believing for one in this case...that His name would be glorified and that many would come to salvation because of it.
You didn’t rain on my thread...you gave me an opportunity to testify about how great God is. Thanks
My issue is that if God would intercede at this point to help him recover from his traumatic physical injuries (he won't ever recover from the mental trauma of that event), he should have interceded earlier. It's like a doctor knowing you have a small manageable lump or bump and waiting until the lump has now spread to your brain and lungs before trying to fix you. We'd all sue that doctor for malpractice for waiting too long.
I would have cc’ed you to this reply if I’d waited a few more minutes to post...

Jessica Lunsford fit your suggested profile perfectly, but it didn't do her any good. A whole army of prayer warriors in her family and her church didn't make any difference.
Prayers up.
Prayers up from an area of TX where two similar incidents in the past few months have taken the lives of two precious children. Please, Lord, don’t let Aadon join that roll call - spare him to stay here and teach us all. Thank you!
As I said..God’s plan is bigger than we can imagine...The Bible tells us we cannot add even one day to our lives...we are all given a certain amount of time here..and nothing can change that. He called Jessica home, I am wondering how many lives were changed because of her tragic circumstances.
Just as my life was changed through Terri Schiavo’s life. And how my family’s life has been changed since the murder of my brother just before Christmas 2007. He was stabbed in the back by his girlfriend...who let him bleed for 20 minutes before calling the EMT’s. He died 3 hours later at the hospital. Why did this happen? Evil happens...it is part of the fallen state of this world. My brother is gone now...but God has been doing a work of restoration in my family...(riddled with alcohol/drug abuse and all that goes with it)...that would not have happened if not for the death of Tommy. My father just recently died from flesh eating disease...it ate his entire face...why did this happen? Only God knows..he beat a stroke and cancer, yet fell to a scratch on his forehead. But because of this I got reconnected to a cousin...who has since come to the Lord. I have stopped looking at the situations, but I focus on the bigger picture. God is still in control.
Prayers up for this little boy.
Through the intercession of Teri, herself, to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
I pray that Jesus will help the poor little boy.
Prayers for this child to heal, and eternal punishment for the scumbag perpetrator.
OMG, how hideous. I’ll just pray for a miracle and that God will somehow bring good out of this horrible situation. Words just fail me what non-biological fathers do to these kids. It seems to be a syndrome that comes from baser instincts concerning the young.
