My wife fell on the sidewalk coming back from our extended family Christmas celebration. She has cut her hand pretty badly. My daughter is taking her to the emergency room now and I am trying to hold myself together and do something useful.
Please pray for her complete healing. She is visually impaired, and the crafts are her world and her ability to give back to others. She has make exquisite sweaters and scarfs for others. If she loses the ability to craft, she will lose so much of her joy in life.
Prayers for your wife and for all of your family on this Christmas Day!
Your wife will be remembered in my prayers throughout the day.
Prayers up for her.
Prayer bump
I will pray for your wife. I am a crafter and a knitter also when time allows and I know what a big empty space there would be if I were not able to spend my time so productively and joyfully.
I pray that the Spirit of the Living God will send the Divine Healer to perform the miracles of healing for your wife and that she will be whole again.
Blessings to all of you at Christmas,
Jane
Good news that nothing is broken. Keep your chins up and pray that all will be well.
Merry Christmas , have a relaxed day.
Prayers going up.
Pray that the God who came this day be with her, family and caregivers.
Prayers for your wife’s complete recovery. Christmas Joy and Blessings to you as well.
For showers and baths (and any other situations) while she can't get it wet, put a large ziploc bag around her hand, secured with a rubber band.
My husband has had to do that with foot bandages on several occasions, and he says it works great to keep the bandage necessarily dry.
Prayers ascending toward Heaven.
Lord God, Heavenly Father:
Through your Son’s hands you made the worlds, made the lame walk and the blind see, unstopped the ears of the deaf and loosened the tongue of the mute. His pierced hands leaked the precious blood through which the worlds were made anew.
May the hands of the healers be guided by His hand, and may this your child’s walk never slip from His grasp as you lead her in the Spirit to you through Him whose birth we celebrate today and who lives and reigns for ever with you and that same Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting.
Prayers up.
Adding a few of my prayers.
For your wife to heal and you to survive your worry.
In our prayers
Prayers up for your wife.

They got back from the emergency room at 1:30 Christmas morning. She has her cut glued together (no stitches, reducing the possibility of infection) and her finger is wrapped up in the type of tape and gauze you normally see on NFL linemen.
I am very proud of my daughter. Her Sea Cadet and Young Marine training came in handy! She apparently hit 95 mph to get her to the emergency room, stopping at red lights only to make sure she was clear and running them. She told me “I was fresher, you had already driven 150 miles that night, I had been sleeping in the car, and I knew the way. You didn’t. If I was stopped by a traffic cop, I would have asked for an escort.” Then... “It’s amazing how slowly those trees passed by at 95 mph.”
Only after the emergency was attended to did she collapse in her room in hysterics.
My special thanks to the Young Marines of Fort Meade and the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps - HMCM William R. Charette Battalion, as well as years of homeschooling, for NOT raising a ninny.
So, Sharron has her hand tied up. We’re doing all the “wet” work, like dish washing and garbage work, as well as hauling the laundry up the steps and down the steps. She’s decided to crochet until the fingers heal.
My special thanks and praise to God Almighty for the prayers and support - and even the psychic slaps - we needed during this emergency. This taught us a lesson about Christmas and what the real meaning was.
Prayer said.
God bless!
