Sorry, OMM; that's not how it works. You see, you are defending Mormonism. I am showing the FOUNDATION of it all: that Joseph Smith claims that God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him and said, "Their creeds are an ABOMINATION to me!" That statement is what the entire LDS organization is built upon. ANYONE who tries to support and defend that organization should know, at the very least, WHY it came into existance. Therefore, I ask you one more time... What is so ABOMINABLE in that creed?? |

I doubt very much that he would lie about that. I do not doubt that you cannot find sufficient scriptural backup for your creed so that you must resort to childish name calling. I gave you Scripture; just like you asked. You dismissed them as irrelevant. Jewish religious scholars; whose life was possible becaused they knew the law inside and out, knew EXACTLY what Jesus was claiming. In your superior knowledge, you claim they didn't know what they were talking about. |

Should I ask instead: "What is so ABOMINABLE with being of one substance with the Father?"
Because it is not true.
