Arabs (by and large) do have a connection with Abraham, being descendants directly of Abraham through his son Ishmael, also directly through Esau--Isaac's son and Jacob's brother, and indirectly through being descendants of Lot--Abraham's nephew.

There are probably some Arabs who are descended from Jacob, too, and whose ancestors put away their Jewish ethnicity and took up an Arab one.

Islam is a pagan, religion which has coopted some bits from Judaism and Christianity. So in that sense Islam is connected with Judaism and Christianity.

Everybody in the ME probably has some connection with everybody else in the ME. In the sense of Islam being an Arab superiority cult (which is what it is), perhaps one could say it is “Abrahamic.”

But in the sense of being one of the religions founded by the God of Abraham, etc., it’s not. Mohammed was a syncretist who took bits of Old Testament law and ritual, some OT figures, a few figures from Christianity, and lots of superstions, practices and cult objects from paganism. That does not an “Abrahamic religion” make.
