YIKES! How did Schleiermacher come out so high!?! Better go back and reread Calvin.....

You scored as Karl Barth. The daddy of 20th Century theology. You perceive liberal theology to be a disaster and so you insist that the revelation of Christ, not human experience, should be the starting point for all theology.

Since I personally eschew all of the doctrines and traditions of men across the board, it was curious to me how I might score in your test. Evidently it sees me as neo-Orthodox and one who posits ontological proofs wrt God. Here's my score:

Of course, I do not agree with either of the above 100% as the test alleges. In Barth's case, he does not see Scripture as a revelation of God - but I do. Likewise, whereas I would posit ontological "proofs" like Anselm, they would not be the same. Anselm did not have the insights of modern science and philosophy. It was interesting though.
Again, as always, I am pro-God not anti-[pick a confession.]

You scored as ORAL ROBERTS. You like money. Lots of it. And when you are not coveting money, you are preaching a false propspeity gopsel. Repent!

So far you and I have the highest "Calvin" scores.
Who'd a thunk?

I scored higher on Luther than you did and I am not a Lutheran. I am probably more associated with Arminius than Calvin, yet I scored higher on Calvin than any of the Calvinists so far. I don't know what that means. The fault may be with the deviser of the survey.

The Revelation of Christ is Christs revelation as scripture says in Revelation chapter 1;1.. Amazing that so many neglect this book.. as the Revelation of John when it is NOT Johns revelation.... it is the revelation of JESUS Christ..

The fault may be with the deviser of the survey.I took a "Catholic vs Protestant" survey on the same site earlier today, and ended up with a score of "Prodestant". Yeah, the academics behind these tests might be a little suspect :)

I'm suspicious of quizzes like this one because the bias can be planted without our knowledge.
I responded to this quiz a dozen times and NEVER did I come up with Calvin in first place. It was always either Barth or Luther or Anselm which could well be how the developers of the quiz WANT us to think.
If anyone can manipulate the quiz to end up with Calvin at 100% I'd like to see how they did it because my answers sure should have resulted in that name.

I am very skeptical if this. I took the test twice and came up with Augustine in the low to mid 90s both times (which wasn’t a surprise, I’m sure it had something to do with the question about the papacy).
However, what confuses me most is YOUR score, how can someone be 100% Calvin and 100% Luther at the same time when there were major doctrinal differences between the two?
