In FRmail tonight, Aggie Mama said that she's having gallbladder removal surgery this coming Friday at 9:30 am. She guesses she's had the gallstone for a while, but didn't find out about it until 2 weeks ago.
The surgery is outpatient, but UNDERSTANDABLY, she's on edge about it. AM's run the gamut of feelings between being completely okay and being totally panicked. She's trying to keep her spirits up for herself, her young children and hubby, who's been WONDERFUL through it all.
She said to thank you in advance for your prayers. They mean the world to her.

Lord, please put your healing hand on Aggie Mama's body tonight. I pray that you give her peace, YOUR peace that passes ALL understanding. We've seen the miracles that happen when two or more of us gather in Your midst to pray, and we're asking for another tonight.
Lord, please guide the medical team who will be caring for her. Thank you for her husband, thank you for her children, thank you for all that you've blessed her with.
In Your Name, Amen

Thank you so much for all of your prayers--I've definitely felt them. My kiddos have hatched some kind of plan to "make me feel better" when I get home. I'm hoping it's a gift certificate for a pedicure, although I have a feeling it's probably some kind of concoction involving pancakes. =)

Thank you so much. I woke up about an hour ago and decided to hop online instead of stress. It's amazing how this thread really helps me stay calm. Thank you for your prayers.

This is Aggie mama's husband. I just wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. The surgery was successful... very, very fast. We arrived at 7:00 am to fill out the paper work. I was there for comic relief, so I did my best. They have her a sedative about 9:10 and the doctor was out to tell me everything went very well about 9:30. I was surprised to see him so quickly. He removed a stone that was about .75" in diameter. They released her about 11:45. When they say out patient, they are not kidding.
Thank you again and Gig'em
