The difference in the Southern Baptist, we don’t have a hierarchy that would move them around. Our horizontal structure is such that if someone is doing something wrong, they’re out. I can assure you word gets around and that person won’t find another job.
This is not true in all Protestant groups who have a hierarchical structure like the Catholics. Just ask the Anglicans about the problems with these structures.
To simply think that this happens in “all” groups is simply admitting that no one wants to deal with the problem.
That I agree with.
But you would think that at some point a true church would stand back and say "Wait a just a minute..."
So that leaves the question to be answered: why are pro-abortion politicians still welcome at communion? Is it because abortion rules are really there to keep the poor oppressed and don't apply to the rich and powerful?
I'm really not a conspiracy guy, but on this one I really have to wonder.
Our preachers are driven out of the Church in almost all cases and totally discredited.
