If that sounds like precipitate language for a member of the clergy, please note that the speaker has had decades to reflect on it.
If it sounds as if she’s unhappy, heavens no. By her description, she and the overwhelming majority of delegates came out of the gathering last weekend like Cubs fans who’d won the World Series.
Over protests from some traditionalists, Nevada Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori was elected national presiding bishop, becoming the first woman to lead a church in the global Anglican Communion.
Traditional Anglican ping, continued in memory of its founder Arlin Adams. "My life was threatened. They threatened to burn down my house. Imagine what it's going to be like with her."
Liberals ALWAYS claim that they've been threatened when they voice unpopular views. Trying to play the victim and divert attention from the lack of merit of their cause.
That good old gospel of inclusivity.
