Prophecy, I think for the most part because of the book of Daniel and the kings dream. The statue represents (Daniel 2; 40-43) the kingdoms of the earth, And all preachers alike are saying we are waiting on the pope to be the false prophet and an empire likened to Rome. Well this same theory of what Daniel says has been around for as long as I can remember. So for me I decided to take God for one moment out of a box. And open my mind to what else it might say. Well I found That the U.N. has 189 members to a world judicial system, and everyone knows that a judicial system, pretty much has control of that it governs, then I found that the name of this system is the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. It is a treaty between 189 countries and it is to force peace, it is clearly a dictatorship. And the chairman or president is a man named Phillipe Kirsch, he is French-Canadian and of European decent. I just thought that if everyone was looking one way maybe we should really look somewhere else. After all Daniel does say that the prophecy of his book will be sealed until the end. Also when reading the documents I found that they gave it (the judicial system) a personality and even called it a personality. Which makes it a person per say. It is also from the start a rocky treaty one that doesn’t look at all like it will hold together. Maybe when we think rome we should look at a bigger rome. Maybe when we say world religion we should look at all religions combined that have stepped away from simplicity. God says him or mammon. So, all who worship mammon would be of one and all who worship God (yah) shall be of one. From the looks of things mammon is taking over the world. Or already has. I ask that you read this and pray over it for answers. Also remember that when we read the whole world will worship it....worship truly means bow down to...(give in)

I have mixed feelings on this, Shall we oppose the fulfillmant of prophecy?
Hypothetical discussion... if all these things were to happen, then we might have a good defence when we stand before God.
I think the 'defense' . . . the only defense
is
whether we accepted and applied the priceless Blood of Jesus to our 'missing the mark,' our sins.
And in terms of many things . . . where our individual hearts were on the priorities God has made repeatedly clear through the centuries.
We should oppose evil in all it's forms and examples etc.
SUBJECT TO HOLY SPIRIT'S SPECIFIC LEADING AND PRIORITIES FOR EACH OF OUR LIVES.
By no means should the average Joe or Mary attempt to do spiritual warfare against the principalities in high places; demons over countries and regions etc.
But on average, as a general rule--yes--we should all oppose evil. IT WILL NOT, IN THE END, MATTER in terms of preventing destiny regarding Biblical prophecies. But it will matter to our individual accounts, imho.
The options are only 2:
Being on the side opposing satan and his stooges and schemes
or
Being on the side of God and righteousness.
No choice, for the true believer, imho.
God is watching who is ready to stand up and be counted on the side of right regardless of the cost . . .
. . . I didn't speak up when they came for the trade unionists because I wasn't a trade unionist . . .
I didn't speak up when they came for the ____________ because I wasn't a ______________ . . .

I jusy wanted to publicly retract my earlier post, I no longer think stormyseas set to troll the board. It was a rush of judgement, based upon a quick reading of a theory I didn't believe, and a new signup date. I'm sorry and hope Stormyseas will accept my apology.
DEAR ONES,
Please allow me to intrude with a personal item. My Step-mom died several days ago. My dad has evidently been crying his eyes out at 80--with 80 years worth of unshed tears on thousands of things--since she first went in the hospital 15 days or so ago.
Tonight at 17:00, my mother died. Praise God that they are both in a better place.
Would appreciate prayer for my Dad (FD) that he re-establish, clear his relationship with God that he had as a teen. He probably needs to forgive a host of people as well as repent for more than a few things. His missionary brother is with him.
BTW, that missionary brother, Don has a sweet grown daughter (who also has kids) Debra--my cousin--has 3 different kinds of cancer--skin, thyroid and breast--Debra--who could also use some prayer.
I pray Uncle Don is successful at helping Dad (FD) reconnect with God. And, he may end up giving the service for my mother.
My Step-Dad--Howard--appears to be doing well but it will be a real jolt. He and mother had an amazing patience with and love for one another. Even with her Alzheimer's her sense of affectionate, lovey dovey cutesy humor with Dad was one of the last things to go.
Not sure what to add. Am on an extended trip until the 7th of July and not planning on altering it for a lot of reasons. Wouldn't help mother and Dad is comfortable with practical decisions like that. Thankfully, there are people there helping him through this though he's mostly a very independent cuss like my blood dad.
Prayers that people I impact along the way will end up with closer relationships with God would be great--particularly FL and SC--Mainland Chinese Loved ones--he still resists the idea of God's existence. She's been influenced away from her Christian rearing. But both are very loving and generous to me.
Guess that's about it. Prayers for God's wisdom, guidance etc. along the way would be great about now.

I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing, also your step mother's. I'll keep your dad in my prayers, and the rest of your family too. It has to be an incredibly hard time coping with this loss.

You have my Prayers FRiend. Even in grief, Rejoice. For to be absent from the body is to be in the persence of the God who made us.
First of all, I'm pretty sure that Israel is perfectly capable of defending herself under any and all circumstances. I'm equally certain that was job #1 when the country was formed IAW Biblical prophesy in May of 1948.
Next, if you've read the Bible, surely you must know that it says that those who bless the children of God will themselves be blessed. But those who curse Israel, will themselves be cursed. If we abandon Israel, we're well and truly doomed. In fact that may be inevitable anyway, because the USA must first be removed from the stage of global power before final end times events can progress. IMHO.
