Prophecy, I think for the most part because of the book of Daniel and the kings dream. The statue represents (Daniel 2; 40-43) the kingdoms of the earth, And all preachers alike are saying we are waiting on the pope to be the false prophet and an empire likened to Rome. Well this same theory of what Daniel says has been around for as long as I can remember. So for me I decided to take God for one moment out of a box. And open my mind to what else it might say. Well I found That the U.N. has 189 members to a world judicial system, and everyone knows that a judicial system, pretty much has control of that it governs, then I found that the name of this system is the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. It is a treaty between 189 countries and it is to force peace, it is clearly a dictatorship. And the chairman or president is a man named Phillipe Kirsch, he is French-Canadian and of European decent. I just thought that if everyone was looking one way maybe we should really look somewhere else. After all Daniel does say that the prophecy of his book will be sealed until the end. Also when reading the documents I found that they gave it (the judicial system) a personality and even called it a personality. Which makes it a person per say. It is also from the start a rocky treaty one that doesn’t look at all like it will hold together. Maybe when we think rome we should look at a bigger rome. Maybe when we say world religion we should look at all religions combined that have stepped away from simplicity. God says him or mammon. So, all who worship mammon would be of one and all who worship God (yah) shall be of one. From the looks of things mammon is taking over the world. Or already has. I ask that you read this and pray over it for answers. Also remember that when we read the whole world will worship it....worship truly means bow down to...(give in)

Your speculation about the international court has a number of weaknesses as well. In your opinion, what is its most significant weakness?
i just felt if it was narrow why should I immediately go the way the many thinks?
Second, I'll admit: I'm not really into biblical prophesies. I also don't believe in a narrow road. God is a broad horizon, the broad horizon. Walk where He asks you to walk, down the path that He has laid at your feet.
I also believe America must stop protecting Israel....

If we are linking this to Rome, Italy, this is not true. In a Socialist country laws are made by the governing party and enforced by the judicial system. The courts do nothing more than the will of the party. If we are linking this to the United States, this is also not true. We have three powers, Executive, Legislative and Judicial. All keeping the others in check. Sometimes it does not seem like that but, over the past 200 years, it has worked better than any other governing system mankind has come up with. If you are linking this with the United Nations, you may have a valid point. Although they are in their own minds the judicial body of the world. With Goofy Annon at the helm they have become a corrupt body of ineffective fools, only doing the bidding of the secretary general and his minions. (see first item about a socialist system) Oh, beware of posting something this deep at the beginning here at FR. The kitties have been fed well lately and might mistake you as the next course of the buffet.

As you will note, there are a fierce lot hereon who are very, very, very hostile to the whole idea that God still cares a flip about Blood Israel. They are drowning in REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY--that doctrine of demons that teaches that God goes back on His promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and is ONLY interested in 'spiritual Israel"--i.e. Christians. There's no reasoning with most of them. They are also hostile to the whole notion that these are the end times. LOL.
Anyway--welcome, for sure. Just wear flack jacket and full HAZMAT suit in the religion forum. It's the fiercest and most hostile section of FR though the Rel Mod has helped reform it an amazing amount in recent months.

Guess I just never thought of it that way. Don't tend to use labels so freely or something. Certainly didn't presume such a role!
Yeah, I saw myself as 'foolishly-for-Jesus' sticking my head out--outlandishly--and going where probably angels fear to tread. But what else is new?! Story of my life! I guess I just saw it as business as usual for me--nothing special; nothing unique. So it kind of startled me to see it put that way.
A bit embarrassing, in a way--in that I don't wish for me to stand out--though I know it's impossible otherwise with the way God made me--it still tends to . . . perturb or sadden me often when I do.
But hey, someone's gotta do the true prophecy thing hereon. Who else is foolish enough?! LOL.

The 'must' is misleading.
Meaning, as I understand the poster--meaning that for all Biblical prophecy to be fulfilled, the USA must end up no longer a protector of Israel.
Not that we philosophically SHOULD stop.
Some folks need NO livening up.
I might even be classed among such.
We can post fiercely on some topics at the mere thought of dropping the hat!

I feel the same Quix, I see the sorrow and I cry for them, but I believe my Bible and somewhere something will prevent us from being that protector so God can.
I do think we will ever just stop because we dont want to anymore I believe we just wont be able to.
