A bit more personal recollections about our Benedict from his old friends in the neighborhood. Despite the thrashing by the MSM, how evil can a man be who has a secret collection of cat plates?

OK...I want to know how he talks to the cats! Feeding stray cats is not exactly the image the MSM has portrayed, is it?

Great story, being a cat man myself (easier to live with in apartments than dogs) I'm glad to read this about our Papa.

Personally I think collectors plates are a bit tacky, but his heart sure is in the right place.

Bavaria is the birthplace of kitsch. I used to get this catalogue of German decoritive items, and a fair amount of them were not exactly sophisticated.

Which just makes me like the man all the more...he doesn't have sophisicated decorating taste.

However, he loves Mozart, which is a good thing.

He does strike me as a very sweet and charming man, and I've gotta say that I'm relieved he decorates with cat plates rather than a 'Queer Eye'. Are Hummel figurines from Bavaria? I can't stand those things, athough I hate Precious Moments even more.

If the Pope ever takes me up on my dinner invitation, I'll see to it he doesn't leave without a personalized serving platter in the shape of my cat:

You can't get much more Catholic than Hummel figures :^)

Good for you. There is a PM shrine, somewhere here in Missouri, I think. Should I ever be forced to go near it, I would certianly bring a hammer.

My ex-SIL had about 300 and hundreds of dollars tied up in those Precious Moments things. They all looked the same.

Nice picture of your kitty. He does look a bit emaciated though. Do you think you are feeding him enough?
